Finally someone has helped us!

My husband has not seen his children in 6-7 months. That is when we came to Frank Mann. He got us into Court really fast. He dominated the entire situation in Court. Opposing Counsel was left speechless. We received exact results we requested in our first office meeting! My husband now has visi...tation every weekend and our other child is with us every other night! We are very excited and definitely satisfied with the results Mr. Mann has gotten us! Thank you!

I recommend Frank Mann

I recommend this law firm to others. The paralegal was easy to work with. When I first met with Mr. Mann, I was just served with papers from my husband. I was extremely upset as my husband wanted to get custody of our 5 and 8 year old sons. Mr. Mann went over the steps to defend myself against wha...t my husband was saying about me. My paralegal filed my paperwork within 3 days like she said she was going to do. After I requested to speak to Mr. Mann, he contacted me by phone to go over my case before the first hearing. I was told that my case could last for 9 months but he was able to get a final agreement on all of the issues in 3 months. This saved me money and I got custody of my children.

Need a bad lawyer, hire this guy!

I wished I had investigated this guy before spending money on him. I almost feel sorry for those that work for this guy but they chose to, just as I made the mistake of choosing him to represent me in my divorce/custody case. I first contacted Mr Manns office back in April of this year for a divo...rce. First official visit I dropped off the suit my ex husband initially filed and they swore I never brought it in. That should have been a clue but I dismissed it as they are quite busy and lost paperwork happens from time to time. Like most of those that did reviews here, I was never informed me of court dates until the last minute, most of the time I found out via my Ex, then would ask or I would just show up. They were not ever really prepared for court and most of the time I would talk to the judge. They would stand silently as I spoke. Promises that were made, weren't followed through on. Trial date came, the day before Mr Mann calls me and decides he's going to threaten me. He says I owe him $950. I stopped paying when they stopped working on my case and in my opinion, they didn't earn the $1650 they were paid. He said he felt he earned it and worked so hard on my case. Oh you mean the 30 minute review you did just before calling to extort money from me? So I don't feel I owe them. He told me that I should give them $150 that day and write post dated checks for the rest of the balance. I don't think Mr Mann knows I am aware that a post dated check is honored like any other check. So post dated checks are a bad idea in ANY case. 2)He threatened to lien my car. He must have used this on someone else and it worked. In Texas you cannot lien a car that is owned. 3)He threatened to ask for a continuance on my case for 2 more months unless I paid. Really, Mr Mann? Jessica the attorney he sent to court, actually attempted to get a continuance in court and FAILED. I had signed the divorce papers before she showed up and the judge was going to honor the fact that my Ex and I had come to an agreement. I don't know how they thought they could pull that off. They even attempted to write in a half assed agreement on my final decree, which the judge edited because it wasn't even close to what I agreed to. Probably should make sure that witnesses to that aren't around before trying to pull a fast one like that again. Jessica, she wasn't nice at all. She dismissed me several times in the hallway. She refused to sign my divorce papers at one point and left the court room. I told the judge they were fired. She assured me that all would be okay and I would be divorced. Jessica and I went back out in the hall, she did state she had a promissory note that Mr. Mann wrote up, I refused to sign it. We got into a very heated argument. She walked away from me and I followed, right into the court room. I was almost escorted out of court when she wanted to argue with me about them not returning emails, phone calls. I gave her several reasons as to why I didn't feel I owed them anything. I asked her about the Protective Order she promised me, told her I filed it myself and her response "Good". They will certainly email if they don't get their money but anything to do with my case was not answered in a timely fashion at all. I haven't received the itemized bill I asked for nearly 3 months ago but they want paid to do NOTHING. They don't keep you informed and honestly they don't work for you. It doesn't matter how much you pay, they still won't work for you. I would steer clear of this law firm if I was anyone that needed a good attorney. Seriously, hire someone else. Spend your money on a great attorney, or don't and get a free one through Legal Aid, it's worth the wait if this is the alternative.

BAD EXPERIENCE

I hired this lawyer for a family issue. My experience with this office has been horrible. Simple deadlines were missed, and he did not show up for a scheduled mediation. This in turn reflected negatively on my case and I ended up having to pay the other sides attorneys fees and costs.

Full Custody Awarded

I contacted Frank Mann about 8 months ago to get a family custody issue resolved, and I got full custody of my daughter! He is a straight talker and handled the case very professionally and as efficiently as the courts would allow. I recommend him to anyone who needs a good custody lawyer.

Public Reprimand issued in TX, 2015

updated on 05/16/2016

Public reprimand means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Frank’s comment:

“This public reprimand involved an issue with Mr. Mann's paralegal. Mr. Mann instructed his paralegal to file a Motion to Mediate for a client, but she did not timely comply with Mr. Mann's instructions which caused an unnecessary delay for the client. Mr. Mann took prompt action against the paralegal by a reprimand and dismissal from employment. Mr. Mann accepted a public reprimand in this situation because he took responsibility for his paralegal's failure to act.”

Fully Probated Suspension issued in TX, 1990

updated on 01/23/2019

Fully probated suspension means an attorney is technically suspended but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities during the suspension to make sure that he or she does not repeat the behavior.
