Saved the Day

Talk about a case from hell. That was me prior to hiring Frank... My case started exactly 1 year ago with another lawyer and could have been a pretty typical contested case. I wanted visitation with my (now 2yr old) daughter... her mother wanted me and was angry because I no longer wanted a relation...ship with her. So she kept me from my daughter. I hired the 1st law firm who dragged their feet, missed court dates, and let the case slip away without much result and drained me with lawyer fees. Fast forward to June of this year... I fired the old law firm and hired Frank. I admit after the last lawyer, I was skeptical of Frank's law firm. But his staff was friendly, straight to the point and handled my case transfer to them with ease. With less than a month to prepare for my 8/24 hearing, his team got busy behind the scenes going through the mounds of discovery I sent. We're human so I had some concerns about how my case was progressing because I live 5 hrs away in Dallas and I hadn't heard much about progress, 2days before the hearing. . But all of my concerns were eased when Frank "the man" Mann, kept his word and phone conferenced me. He told me one very important thing... "Trust him", because he is here for me. I shut my mouth and did just that... The next day in court... he was a rock star. He came up with a game plan, executed it effortlessly and in 4 hours accomplished what my other lawyer couldn't do in nearly a year. He stopped my daughter's mom's games right in her tracks. He set up the DNA, settled the DNA payment dispute with the judge, arranged mediation for 8/27 and set injunctions to end the daily harassment I received from my daughter's mother. I was impressed!! Last night I went to mediation, an attorney from his law firm was present and in the end... I won! I got everything I asked for and we have a signed agreement!!! Frank has been handling difficult cases for over 30 years. His expertise in knowing what battles to fight and how to handle difficult opposing parties is exactly what you need. You may not know what he's doing at all times. But that's just his work style. He's brilliant and knows exactly what to do. All you have to do is trust him.

Very Good Attorney!

Mr. Mann and Linda, my paralegal, helped me with in my divorce. They were very knowledgeable and very careful that all my papers and the wording was 100% correct. Mr. Mann met me before my hearing at the courthouse and went over my case with me before the court hearing started. We met a week before ...the hearing to go over my testimony. We had a contested hearing with testimony before the Judge. He covered all of my issues in my case and he did a great job on cross examination of my wife. I would highly recommend this law firm to use. I would use them again if I had the need.

bad lawyer..

this lawyer shouldt even be called a lawyer.. i hired this man on October of 2012 it is now July 2013, thats 9 months in those 9 months he didnt do anything in my favor. my exhusband lied so much in his affidavit and i proved alot of it wrong he accused me of hurtin my kids but when i presented pictu...res o my kids with scratches and bruises of them coming from his house all they said was that we probably werent going to be able to use those pictures in court because we were only defending me not accusing my ex husband. i never ever saw frank mann i only spoke with him once and that was only to discuss trial fees wich i didnt have at that time after that i never heard of them again. i was represented by Jessica Adams and she was just as bad i never spoke to her when we went to court and she was always late and when she was always at other courts except mine and then lie that i was the one who would leave ( i would wait at least 30 minutes after court and i wasnt able to speak to her) the paralegal was Tina Favorito and she was no different from her boss. she was never in her office so she rarely answered my phone calls and it would take her days if not weeks to answer emails. I was notified about mediations and temporary orders by the amicus not my lawyer and even the amicus agreed tht they were a terrible law firm because she herself should never get a hold of Jessica. I never felt like they even worked on my case and even withdrawed from my case out of nowhere wich I didn't mind because I didn't want them to represent me anymore but their cause for withdraw was a lie. they said that the weren't getting payed and that they had no way of communicating with when every month they got $300 and they're the ones that wouldn't answer emails and phone calls. I should have never hired these people and I hope that after reading how much I struggled with this law firm you don't hire them either they will only waste your time and money. good luck.

BAD EXPERIENCE

I hired this lawyer for a family issue. My experience with this office has been horrible. Simple deadlines were missed, and he did not show up for a scheduled mediation. This in turn reflected negatively on my case and I ended up having to pay the other sides attorneys fees and costs.

Unprofessional and greedy individual

I was in need of a child custody lawyer and a real good one, so I looked online for a successful case winning lawyer. Frank Mann credentials were impressing but the negatives I avoided because I thought it was typical criticism. So I gave Frank a call and we set up a meeting. His confidence in his wo...rk and funding of judicial parties made me believe he was competent in courts with favor. Actually I only seen Frank once and that was only to arrange his fees. I was never to call him but to email only. I never knew he had an assistant until they popped up late for hearing with no fire power by lack of responding. Basically going in blind with a billy goat as my guide. I paid Frank money all at once because he said it was better. I thought he would work harder if someone respectfully gave what he asked up front. No, he never stuck to what he said when he was getting his money. Frank don't reply to emails involving case or does he manage to get substantial information on the defense of my behalf. I was told not to worry because the courtroom I was in they knew the judge and would win. Things that were not to be admitted in front of judge got out which had any relevance to custody case. I seen court appointed attorneys work harder and I thought the better the pay, the better the services. I will NEVER I MEAN NEVER go for fraud websites and these fake reviews to only get legally conned for my money. I paid for someone with numerous yrs of experience and I got an experience of a lifetime. When dealing with the livelihood of children I think it should be law that God fearing people should work for these type of vulnerable fields. I want my baby happy not the LAWYER!!!!!! What a waste of time and money I got to be more careful because people are in business to prey on vulnerable people at need of assistance. Lesson Learned!

Public Reprimand issued in TX, 2015

updated on 05/16/2016

Public reprimand means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Frank’s comment:

“This public reprimand involved an issue with Mr. Mann's paralegal. Mr. Mann instructed his paralegal to file a Motion to Mediate for a client, but she did not timely comply with Mr. Mann's instructions which caused an unnecessary delay for the client. Mr. Mann took prompt action against the paralegal by a reprimand and dismissal from employment. Mr. Mann accepted a public reprimand in this situation because he took responsibility for his paralegal's failure to act.”

Fully Probated Suspension issued in TX, 1990

updated on 01/23/2019

Fully probated suspension means an attorney is technically suspended but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities during the suspension to make sure that he or she does not repeat the behavior.
