Poor communication - mishandled my case

Matthew submitted incorrect documents to the court without my review. These documents contradicted my emailed instructions AND my already confirmed settlement agreement that he had in his possession. When I asked about having a call to clarify the problem he created, I was told he would bill me $25...0/hr for the time. This caused months of problems sorting out the QDRO trying to fix his error. His mistake on the QDRO resulted in having to draft 3 more QDRO's at over $800 each, which he then refused to refund any of when a settlement was reached with my ex about the problems he caused. Dealing with my lawyer to reach the new settlement cost me an additional $2k in legal fees, not including the additional QDRO costs. I would absolutely never do business with Matt again, nor recommend him to anyone.

Exactly as Promised

If I could give him 6 stars I would. It proceeded exactly as promised, even though my ex's lawyer was a major pain the entire time and made it take longer than it should have.

Excellent and Cost Effective

We had a brief call, he sent me everything I needed to get the work done, and things proceeded almost exactly as he suggested. I had a difficult ex, and a slow and non-responsive retirement plan. Mr. Lundy did a good job communicating with my ex and following up to the retirement plan to keep thing...s moving forward. Highly recommend, and cost me much less than other licensed attorneys were quoting.

Did the Impossible

I hired Mr. Lundy after a recommendation from a local family law attorney when we needed assistance with a complicated QDRO matter. Without getting into confusing details, Mr. Lundy was able to do the impossible and help us navigate all the paperwork, court orders, and legalities. I hired him to en...sure we had made all attempts to get this matter resolved, never expecting it would be successfully concluded. Mr. Lundy and his team were very professional, communicated via e-mail and were thorough in all their information. And most importantly, for the one flat fee that was quoted, he was able to do what we all believed to be impossible.

Excellent, Competent, and Reasonable Fees

Everyone but Mr. Lundy let me down in my divorce. My own attorney has a super rating on avvo.com but that did not happen in my case. The only positive in my settlement is that my attorney recommended Mr. Lundy handled the QDRO. He replied immediately to all my questions, was reasonably priced, and di...d a GREAT job! Hire him and you won't have to worry.
