also known as Elizabeth Ann Kohler Maya, Elizabeth Kohler Maya
I have been practicing immigration law since 2003 and feel very fortunate to be part of such a wonderful profession. The greatest joy of my position is helping clients fulfill their dreams of uniting with family members, finding a safe haven, escaping abuse, and achieving professional and educational goals. I put every effort into each case to optimize the chance of success. I maintain open communication with clients to keep them informed of their case and to set realistic expectations. I believe that America was founded on the hardwork and sacrifice of immigrants and that this continues to be an essential part of our country's fabric.

Contacted, but not used services
Professional, and prompt communication. Willing to help with my case and provide legal advice. The only thing I see is an issue is the $300 consultation fee which I find a bit high.

Excellent Experience with Elizabeth
I highly recommend Elizabeth. My husband moved to the United States from New Zealand 2.5 years ago. The residency process seemed quite daunting to us and we were uncertain of what steps to take. After our first meeting with Elizabeth, we felt immensely better. She calmly walked us through the pro...
"I heartily endorse my colleague Elizabeth Kohler-Maya. She’s a consummate professional advocating on behalf of her clients. Her service to the community and to the immigration bar speaks highly of herself and her practice."
"I am thrilled to write this endorsement for my colleague, attorney Elizabeth Kohler-Maya. I have collaborated with Elizabeth on a wide variety of immigration cases and I have always been impressed by her expertise and her high ethical standards. Elizabeth is a hard-working, knowledgeable and compassionate immigration lawyer. She is very organized and always takes the time to understand her clients’ needs and to assess a case from all angles before choosing the best strategy. Aside from providing top quality legal representation to her clients, Elizabeth gives back to the community by doing pro bono work and mentoring less experienced immigration attorneys. I am truly fortunate to have Elizabeth as my colleague and mentor and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding immigration attorney."
"Ms Kohler's answers on Avvo demonstrate a depth of knowledge of immigration law and a profound ability to analyze complex legal problems. I am happy to endorse her."
"I heartily endorse this lawyer. Liz is personally dedicated to helping the disadvantaged with vigor and professionalism."
"I endorse this lawyer. She is always on point with her answers and she shows a proficient command of the subject."
"It is my privilege to endorse Ms. Elizabeth Kohler Maya. Liz and I have collaborated in our various capacities from committees in professional organizations to advocates in individual cases. In all these roles, I have always found Liz to be the consummate professional. She is intelligent, organized, and compassionate about the practice of immigration law. I refer clients to her all the time knowing that they will be in the best of hands. The legal profession is better because of people like Liz."
