Briscoe Rowell Cain III

I hired Briscoe Cain to handle a nasty divorce. He assured me he could handle this complicated case. He rarely answered calls or emails. Yet he bragged that he gave his clients his cell phone number. He made many excuses for failure to complete the filings. He told me we could file a continuance mot...ion. After wasting precious time while he billed me, I found out he has a less then stellar reputation amount attorneys and Judges. I fired him and retained a competent attorney.

He told me he was going to handle the case one way and kept changing his mind. Then telling me he talked to a judge he knew and that we were going to go a different route on my case. During this time he kept telling me to go back to my divorce attorney. I got all the paperwork he needed so he didn't ...have to pull any records from the county clerks office. This went on for 2 months nothing was resolved on my case. Then tells me I owe him more money so I told him I was going by there but then my mother was dyeing from cancer so I didn't get by there that Friday. I called him Monday told him my daughter was bringing a check then he sends email he was not going to handle my case without any explanation of why and did not refund any money I gave him to start the case. I wouldn't refer him to anybody.
