Damaris A. Chavez is a dedicated attorney who is known who focuses on effectively representing client’s rights and interests. Attorney Chavez practices primarily in criminal, immigration and family law. She began her practice by opening the Law Office of Damaris A. Chavez in August of 2013. Since then, she has handled a wide variety of cases and been successful in many of them. Her clients are so pleased with her representation that a large percentage of her business is referrals from satisfied clients.
Damaris’ committed to her clients and the practice of law has led to a successful practice in Pasadena, Texas. However, she serves clients from Harris and its contiguous counties and occasionally clients from other states.
Attorney Chavez has always been devoted to helping the community by engaging in diverse volunteer programs. During her college years at the University of Houston – Downtown, she volunteered with the Bridge, a shelter for battered women and also for Crossroads, an agency whose mission is to prevent or reduce youth involvement with the juvenile justice. During law school, Damaris joined Child Advocates, an agency who uses volunteers as a voice to protect children who are suffering from abuse, and Catholic Charities, a non-profit organization geared toward helping those with immigration issues.
Attorney Chavez understands that any type of legal matter can be daunting for a person who is not familiar with our legal system. Her experience in the areas of criminal, family and immigration law, have allowed her to help many people with complex legal issues. Damaris is sensitive to her client’s needs and desires.
