Mr Barber is a horrible attorney with zero people skills, zero communication skills. Gets upset and hangs up when you ask questions about your case. Cussed out my g/f for asking him questions and hung up. Did absolutely nothing but get a fingerprint card reinstated. The rest he sat on his thumbs and ...collected my hard earned money for him to basically nothing in a nutshell. He talks the talk when you meet him but he sure can’t walk the walk in crunch time.

Worst lawyer ever payed him to do his job. My husband in jail will try to call him to ask about any updates over the case he will get mad and hang up on him we will ask him to send him paper work from the case he lied and said he did already which he never even did he missed his court dates and didn’...t let us know ahead for sentencing he missed his court so we had to rescheduled the sentencing cause the judge clearly said he had to be here mind you he didn’t tell us that he wasn’t gonna be able to make it to my husbands court again. He didn’t do anything we asked him to do simple things like to send him paper work he will get mad and start arguing with us saying we ain’t appreciating. He never done nothing we asked him to do he’ll just ignore us. Mind you for his 2nd sentencing court date he didn’t even talk for behalf of my husband he didn’t have no words to say to help him with his case and lower the years of his sentencing . Worst lawyer ever and got anger issues and basically payed him for nothing cause he didn’t do a word we said or he said he would do for our family.

I was looking to have my Aggrivated Assault Felony set aside as well as have my 2nd Amendment rights restored from a charge that I had in 2003. Where do I even start? Anybody looking to expunge, set-aside, or even just a criminal defense lawyer, I would highly recommend Bretton. I came to him in March 2017 for help with expunging or setting-aside an old case from 17 years ago. Bretton took the time to go over everything with me, what my ...options were, and then filed the motion. Flash forward 3 months later --> The motion was denied, that was the first attempt. Bretton filed another motion shortly after and that motion was once again denied! Now its September 2017, Bretton goes and files another motion, this time he even goes to clerk and makes sure that it is properly reviewed. Months go by, no reply. Bretton calls the Judges admin, she puts the case on the Judges desk for review, and what do you know! This time the case was fully expunged, deleted, GONE. Forever.
