Charges Dropped!

My brother was arrested last year for drug charges with intent to distribute. He was facing 30 years and had already hired and paid an attorney but once he met Neal he hired him and fired the other attorney. This was very scary and our family was uneasy throughout this ordeal. I got a call today and ...Mr. Ainsworth got all the charges dropped! This news was very relieving and Hopefully we won't need an attorney for anything like this in the future but If ever an attorney is needed he will be the one!! I highly recommend him.

One of the best decisions I ever made hiring this lawyer

Mr. Ainsworth is on top of his game. He knows what to ask, when to ask it, and how to ask it. I had a little situation on my way home from the club. The police blew it all out of proportion. The next thing I knew they were throwing four charges on me. Aggravated assault, DUI, Possession of marijuan...a, and leaving the scene. My friend told me that I better call Ainsworth. I was looking at some serious jail time. At least 5 yrs. I went to see him a couple times and explained the situation. He asked me a lot of questions then got to work on my case. I’m very happy to be reporting to my probation officer not sharing a prison cell. I highly recommend this guy and He will work with you if he can of the fees. That made it even better.

Case dismissed

State Trooper pulled me over for speeding. I had my mom’s pill bottles laying on the pass seat because I was taking them to my sister’s house for moms. I didn't look to see what was what. It wasn't my business. I thought it was just some blood pressure meds but she had a couple of her pain pills in o...ne of the other bottles and one of those plastic things with the day of the week with her pills in it for the rest of the week. Next thing I know they’re taking me to jail charging me with possession. I tried to tell the investigators but they were just interested in making me seem like a drug dealing thug over a couple pain pills in the wrong bottle and that daily dose thing. I never would have thought in a million years that it’s illegal to have meds in one of those things in the car. It was ridiculousness so I called Ainsworth. He’s a real nice person and understands the law really well. He got all of my charges dropped. We had to give him copies of the prescriptions and a letter from moms saying that I was bringing her meds to her at my sister’s house but it’s all good now. If you’re reading this review tell all of your friends about the daily pill thing. They can charge you even if you have the right bottle with you just for carrying any prescription medication in a container that don’t have the prescription label on it.

Stay clear of this attorney

I hired this attorney to represent my brother on drug charges. I gave him 5,000 of the 8,000 retainer fee and he never showed up to consult my brother. He also missed two court appearances before I fired him. After that I fired him and asked for a refund and he said he doesn't give refunds. Now I hav...e filed a complaint with the Georgia Bar Association. Do yourself a favor and find another attorney.

As the Legal Assistant to Mr. Ainsworth and the one who visited with the client mentioned, I would like to share my feelings in regard to this complaint. Mr. Ainsworth did everything that he was required to do for the client he was hired to represent , upon being retained the client was being held in another facility not the county we were hired to represent him, in which we took immediate action to have him moved to the prosecuting county by having direct and ongoing contact with his Parole Officer, so that we could file in as his attorney at record with the court , in this particular county you are not allowed to file in motions on a client unless they have bonded out or are in custody, which was the situation we were dealing with in this case, at the time he was transported and arrived at said county it was after hours, once arriving he was entitled to a first appearance for a bond, at which time our paperwork was being filed in, as for the second court appearance, our office was notified by the Parole Officer that due to the weather his hearing had been changed to a later date, again not our fault. when it comes to court appearances and dates we are at the mercy of the court. OUR OFFICE DID NOT MISS ANY COURT DATES! I personally visited with the client on three occasions within the two week period that we were retained as his attorney as well as staying in contact with family on a daily basis, with the status of his case. It was at the client's request on the third visit that we withdraw from his case, we were not fired by anyone as stated in the comment above. Our office has done nothing wrong we followed all legal procedure in this case and we welcome all complaints made to the Georgia Bar Association. Mr. Ainsworth is highly recommended by many as you can see and that is because of his commitment and hard work that he puts into the defending and representing his clients.
