Matthew Dudley is our super hero and I will always refer to him as such! He’s not just a lawyer, he is extremely passionate about what he does and fights his heart out for the best interest of a child. He is an honest man, with a brilliant level of intelligence. He can get the truth out of anyone wit...h strategic questions and wording. He is a man of fact and during the scariest time of your life, he teaches you to take the emotion out and to be confident in your experience. Mr. Dudley was a huge piece to the healing in our situation and made me feel so heard in court. He listens so well and absorbs every little detail in your case. You may not see it at first, but he has a heart of gold and cares deeply. He is not here to take but only to fight for those who need it. His work is remarkable and he is highly dedicated to his job. Mr. Dudley was my lawyer for 3 + years and will be my future lawyer when the time comes. My case was a really tricky and sometimes complicated one. We were fighting my abusive ex and dealing with the case being even more complicated due to the ex being military court martialed and much of their inves...tigation couldn’t be released to me or my lawyer. He handled the situation beautifully though, and quickly learned how to handle some of the information coming from the military. The ex’s civilian lawyer was persistent and a snake in the grass. He pulled every thing he could and put me through hell, but once again Mr. Dudley did an amazing job handling him and all the many many court hearings. Yes, he’s a little rough around the edges. He’s not your therapist, he’s not going to sugarcoat things; he’s to the point and hates wasting time. He’s blunt and gets the job done. He’s amazing to watch in court and he slammed dunked won my case. I definitely want him in my corner and would hate to be going against him. All in all, he was a blessing to me and my kids. I will ALWAYS recommend him and definitely trust him as my lawyer to take care of things.

In my experience, it is rare that I feel compelled to write a review for someone unless they have done truly exceptional work. He will not sugarcoat anything or act as a therapist, but rather, he will fight for you and your family. We hired Matthew Dudley to help us become de facto parents to our great granddaughter, and after a year of working with him, we went to trial.
