I was searching for a divorce attorney and already interviewed with couple of them. I was not satisfied with any of them until I gave a Call to Gina M Costello, after couple minutes talk, I noticed right away this is my Attorney, I relied on Gina and her great paralegals and office staff for this..., they never disappointed me. This great group of people were there for me every step of the way and always answered my emails/calls in a timely manner. If your case involves a trial, know that Gina will be there to defend you like no one else. I could not have asked for a better outcome for my case, and I owe it all to Gina and her team for being so wonderful through it all. I would highly recommend her as a lawyer to anyone. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DONT HIRE GINA.Tells a good story to get a $5000 retainer.then when you ask or call about your case you are giving nothing but excuses,yelled at,lied to.she not there to help you as she blame you for all of problems.i thought attorneys were to help you.gina it good at one t...hing taking your money.worst attorney in Spokane,I don’t have any more money to retain another attorney,so I am going to lose case as Gina withdrew from my case.because I called and told her it been 4 1/2 months and nothing as been done.she yells and said to bad it your fault.it my fault for trusting Gina Costello she Crook and needs to sued,but attorney won’t sue one another.

I gave one star rating since there is no zero star. She was my divorce attorney and had the worst experience with her. At the final reading (agreement to) the dissolution in mediation, I started to get very emotional and excused myself to go to the restroom to compose. Right after I entered the ba...throom and was crying, she followed me in and proceeded to raise her voice and told me harshly to get myself together and get back out there so we could wrap it all up. I told her I just needed a few minutes to compose. She continued to hound me to get back to the room in a very rough way. I then told her I wanted my ex to pay for my attorney fees ($6,000) since he had cheated on me for 5 yrs. She said there was NO way they would pay that... NO way! I asked her "how do you know if you don't ask?". She begrudgingly agreed to ask. It was agreed upon that he would pay 1/2. If I hadn't forced her to ask, I wouldn't have gotten ANY fees paid!! I had to argue with her just to get $3,000 for attorney fees! Shouldn't have to do that! In addition to that, she later billed me for phone/email charges in addition to the $3,000 retainer fee I had already paid her for a few short months. I researched the phone logs on Verizon and found that she was over billing me by several hundreds based on her and her paralegal's pay scale for calls/time. I asked her to provide any records of verification of call time she had so I could compare it to mine. She left me a nasty, mean voicemail stating that she didn't operate that way and would NOT provide ANY records. So I ended up sending her a check for the amount that I showed to be correct based on phone records, etc and a note that if she had any issues with the amount that she could contact me. I never heard from her again. In addition to being cheated on by my ex for 5 yrs, this was a horrible experience to go through at a time when you need support, compassion and advocacy. She was rude, brash, and didn't advocate for my best interest financially. For 23 yrs of marriage, I received only 4 yrs of spousal support (and 1/2 attorney fees at MY request). I would not recommend her.

In the initial interview Gina listened carefully to the facts of my specific situation and ultimately agreed to a different approach than she might have taken. I appreciate that she evaluates each client's individual needs and it resulted in a no-fault divorce that went off without a hitch and in rec...ord time. Gina has been my lawyer for the past couple of years and has represented me in quite a few instances involving my ex-wife and our child. She has helped in mediation, parenting plan revision, child support modification, contempt charges, relocation issues, etc. My situation has not been a walk in the ...park. There have been several times throughout the last couple of years where I will admit that I questioned the direction that Gina wanted to take things, but each time I trusted her and I am so glad I did. When I first came to Gina I only had my daughter every other weekend and alternating holidays. With Gina's guidance, I eventually gained 50% custody of my daughter and I am now the custodial parent, having my daughter the majority of the time. Obviously the actions of my ex played into how everything worked out but Gina was spot on each and every time that she gave me advice. It is intimidating trying to find a good lawyer but Gina and her team have worked exceptionally hard for me and things would not be where they are today without their efforts. I cannot say thank you enough! I would definitely recommend Gina to anyone who is in need of a good Family Law Lawyer.
