Horrible Experiece

I hired Gina in January to finish up on a child custody case. 9 months and $5000 later there has been little or no work done on the case. Not a single request sent to the opposing part for any information. One deposition scheduled then cancelled 1/2 an hour before it was supposed to happen, never res...cheduled. Then 60 days before we are supposed to be in trial, she files an notice to withdraw from the case. I found her to be rude and abusive when talking with her, she has cussed out my wife and I over the phone and despite her promises to knowing exactly how to bring this whole thing to a resolution has put us further behind and in a deeper hole than we ever could have imagined. Now even a simple request like did mediation get scheduled and if so when is it scheduled is completely ignored. I finally had to call the attorney I think is being used for mediation and ask their staff if there's an appointment because my attorney can't even respond to that. Hiring Gina was by far the worst mistake we made in this entire process.

You paid me $2,000 after temporary orders where you lost custody of your child to the other side (prior to my involvement). On the day I entered my Notice of Appearance discovery requests made by the other side were already past due. I charged you 2k to review the volumes of court files in your case to get you in compliance with their written demands served on previous counsel and to appear at your procedural check in-s with the court - status conference. All the while I have returned you calls and your e mails including the questions your wife posed. You have often complimented me and thanked me for getting back to you right away. Your account with me has been past due for some months, the experts have now all recently weighed in and without payment I do not understand what you would like me to do. I wish you nothing but the best in your search for just the right attorney to tell you what you want to hear. Clearly, I am not that person never have been never could be. I thought that was why you appreciated me and I am sorry you clearly do not. GMC

Took my case when others offered little hope

I was looking for a feisty lawyer to represent me in a divorce settlement modification. I had interviewed several other lawyers who basically said "suck it up and pay the original alimony" or "in Washington you are rolling the dice on how the judge will interpret the law". Gina listened to my story,... asked relevant questions and finally said "I'll take your case". It wasn't easy, but Gina found a mediator who helped us reach a new settlement that neither side liked -- in other words, a fair settlement. As with any lawyer money was a concern, but dealing with the case came first and money second.

Absolutely hands down TERRIBLE as an attorney AND person!

The best way I can describe her is being a b!tch on a power trip. She does NOT care about your case, you are just a paycheck to her. Neither her nor her staff return emails, phone calls or any other attempt at contact. She does not keep you up to date on your case, at all. The only way I EVER knew w...hat was happening in my case was searching the Spokane Country Court website and finding out what had been filed and when. During my first custody hearing she called my ex by MY last name instead of by theirs, and could not remember my child's name throughout the entire divorce. She showed up almost two hours late to my mediation but still charged me for the time, even though she wasn't there. She also tolld me that if I didn’t give her a ridiculous amount of money that she would not take my case to trial. She made it clear that she just wanted money. I received bills for every email that she read and DIDNT reply to. When I finally got frustrated at her lack of response I said something about it and she yelled at me and threatened to drop me as a client. I'm sorry but I thought your job as an attorney is to represent the person paying you?!?! Not get mad when they call you out on your BS. I spent thousands of dollars on her and have nothing to show for it. I got the same outcome I could have if I had just represented myself. I did not get any justice in my divorce, in fact she didn't even manage to get my back MY OWN belongings that I had proof I paid for. She somehow let it "slip through the cracks" She is so bad, that when a friend of mine went through a divorce and asked who my attorney was I recommended the attorney that MY EX USED instead of her! Thats how awful she is. Any positive feedback on here was 99.9% written by herself or her staff because it is an absolute joke for people to say that she is caring, and excellent with communication. She is not. She is a joke and shouldn't be an attorney. Don't waste your money. Find someone who is gonna care about you and your case and not just how much money you can give to them in the end.
