READ her negative reviews!

Gina has experience in cases like mine that involve domestic violence, but she perpetuates more abuse by victim blaming and shaming. I didn't read her reviews until after I hired her-my mistake! Most of the negative reviews could have been written by me. It became clear that Gina had not prep...ared for my trial, so when I questioned her she withdrew from my case without explanation. I haven't received any billing statements so there was no accounting for billable hours- she kept the entire retainer fee. Among her peers, she has a reputation for missing court, not replying to emails and calls, and being uncooperative. She raises her voice and uses verbally abusive and foul language to her own clients. I hope Gina decides that it's possible to be respectful and respectable, and still be effective in her profession.

Great attorney for survivors of abuse

A lot of attorneys don’t bother getting to know their client or really try to build a good attorney/client relationship but this is not the case for Gina. She genuinely cares about your story and well being. She will recommend you get into a domestic violence support group and seek therapy to heal fr...om the harrowing experience of an abusive relationship because she has your best interests at heart and wants your emotional health to be a priority. She is blunt and straight forward but that’s a good thing, you don’t want an attorney who just tells you what you want to hear. At my first meeting with Gina, she told me exactly what her plan was and had a draft of the declaration written up by the end already. Her communication is great and she leaves you feeling informed instead of in the dark and unaware of what she plans to do. She understands what abusers do and seems to know how to counter it. So far after hiring Gina I am very happy and confident that she will represent me to the very best of her ability and help keep myself and my child as safe as possible under the circumstances.

Excellant Legal Representation

I left an abusive marriage about five years ago. My ex-husband was able to get a restraining order against me and take our four children by claiming I was homeless and on drugs. A friend suggested that I contact Gina Costello. After consulting with Gina I hired her. She and her staff were a godsend. ...I was in such a vulnerable state. Gina not only represented me exceptionally well in court but also gave me invaluable advice to keep me safe, help my children to heal and protected me emotionally in court. If I had paid double her fees, it would have been worth every penny and then some. Another thing that I really respect about Gina is the way she brings her values into her business and into the courtroom. Gina is fighting the good fight. I can't say enough good things. I am just so grateful that I found Gina Costello.

Gina Costello saved my life.

I had two cases at the same time. One divorce and one criminal case. I was married to a difficult man at whose hands I suffered emotional and physical abuse for years. My husband had an affair with my (ex) best criend and had me arrested claiming assault and was intent on the worst punishment I could... get. Gina took both of my cases and worked on them in unison for until the final resolution. At a dark period in my life, she encouraged me and talked me "off the ledge" many times. She encouraged me to get domestic violence counseling and truly cared about my emotional well-being. It saved my life. When I went to court on the criminal charge, both the prosecutor and the judge told me what an awesome job my attorney did for me. It was a better outcome than I could have imagined. I signed my divorce papers today and again, the outcome was in my favor and nothing short of a miracle. I will always consider Gina my angel. Its a rare find in the legal business. Thank you, Gina, for working tirelessly on my behalf. You truly saved my life and I will be forever grateful.
