The best attorney in Spokane

A lawyer that will surpass all expectations. Christine was hired by us after we left Kara Hill for incompetence. We were in a bind and feeling hopeless. Christine stepped in, no questions asked and got to work. She is not only professional, she knows the law inside and out and her staff is also there... to back that up. Her office is impeccable and she makes time to talk to you and walk you thru all of your questions and concerns. Rachel is the office manager and we had a lot of communication with her. She is knowledgeable and professional. Anytime we had a question or concern she would answer us promptly. In the courtroom, Christine is not one that backs down, she has her facts, and she knows how to handle herself with any judge or commissioner. We had to endure a trial. Christine prepped us by organizing our documents, preparing us to testify, gathering evidence and explaining legal procedures and strategy. She made a very high stressful situation seem very easy and we knew she would protect us. She did. She would tell us “Don’t worry, I won’t let anything happen to you” and she didn’t. We had complete faith in her and the job she would do. Not only did she successfully win our trial, we gained a new found friendship and we have the utmost respect for her not only as a competent lawyer but as a beautiful human being. She, along with her staff made transitioning from another law firm seem less and our trial and everything leading up to it flawless. We are forever grateful to Christine for not only the job she did in court, but for getting our family back.

Extremely knowledgeable and professional

Christine Gallagher was exceptional and I highly recommend her for handling your family law cases. Our family had a very complicated case that unfortunately the previous attorney (Kara Hill)had made worse with their incompetence. The professionalism of Christine is second to none, even her office ...help Rachel and Joanne maintain her high standards. Christine was exceptional in communicating with us every step of the way. When we had questions about certain aspects of the case instead of taking offense to asking a question, she listened and then would patiently explain everything in detail to us. Both my wife and I had been through nasty divorces and child custody battles and so much had changed since we ourselves had been in the courtroom. Thankfully Christine was more than understanding with our questions and expertly and professionaly would explain them and put any fears we had at ease. Christine is definitely a no nonsense attorney with the confidence backed by knowledge as if she's been an attorney for 100 years. Christine embraced our daughters trama and fears through this whole experience and comforted all of us even when we thought things were never gonna come to fruition through all the hard work our daughter had done. Christine is masterful in her profession and was able to help us achieve our goals through the entire case, including Trial. Thank you Christine.

Did I have the same attorney as the other reviewers?

Unprofessional. No backbone when dealing with other attorneys. Appears to do what's best for her instead of what's best for her clients. Christine Gallagher came highly recommended by a trusted friend, and at first I thought she was fantastic. I hired her to protect me from my abusive husband and ...to file for divorce from him. Initially she seemed tough and fair. I was in an incredibly delicate state and I foolishly trusted her to help me Christine discouraged me from submitting my evidence to the police. She allowed a hack local lawyer to intimidate her into trying to silence me. The other lawyer is a friend of my ex who was giving him advice and sending Christine emails even though she wasn't representing him (the other lawyer does not practice family law). Due to my ex's abuse and Christine's negligence, I spiraled into a psychotic breakdown. While I was in the midst of crisis, Christine tried to intimidate me into signing a quit claim deed for my ex (despite the fact that he hadn't yet cooperated in any way in the divorce). My signature at the time wouldn't have been legal. I was not in my right mind. When I was incapable of signing the document, Christine removed herself from my case - claiming she feared for herself and for my safety. Despite my psychosis, it was crystal clear that Christine had zero concern for my safety and only cared about her own. I have no idea what she was so afraid of. After Christine left my case, I got the psychiatric help I desperately needed, filed the police report and finalized the divorce on my own. It's been almost a year since my psychotic break and I'm finally healed enough to look at Christine's reviews and write my own. When I saw another review (on Google) about how Christine got a client to sign documents while under sedation, I knew I had to speak up. This appears to be a pattern for her. Doesn't every lawyer know that clients can't sign legal documents while under the influence/sedation or in while in psychosis? Choosing Christine as my divorce lawyer is one of the biggest regrets of my life. Beware.

Professional, Considerate, and Grounded

From the first day of my separation with my partner and the beginning of our custody journey, Christine was a lifeline for me. She was realistic, reasonable, and she always let me know the facts of the situation. I was always given the information I requested in a timely manner and even when I had st...ressful moments, the office was there for me, answering my many calls and concerns. I felt that I had a clear understanding of not just my case, but of the custody system within Spokane County and how it had an effect on my specific circumstances with my son. Christine is an experienced professional and a choice that I am thankful for and remember everyday when I'm with my son. Her paralegal, Rachel, was an absolute hero for me. These women were and are tireless advocates. I consistently share Christine's name with people here now and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Just stop looking and hire Christine

I’m sure you’re reading this review after scouring the internet searching for a good family law attorney. Well I’m telling you to stop, and just call Christine Gallagher. I hired Christine for my parenting plan case and my child support modification; and she was helpful, responsive, and most importan...tly got me what I wanted on both. And if you are familiar with law at all, you know a good lawyer can be ruined if they have a terrible paralegal; and Christine’s paralegal Rachel is down right fabulous. Rachel is very knowledgeable and kind. You seriously will not find a better team. I would recommend them over and over again.
