When the sheriff offered an attorney for me, Alex was the one who was called and luckily he had answered. I had another friend that’s an attorney in OR recommending him as well. I was initially charged with a DUI and had a DOL hearing due to denying the breathalyzer. I had two court cases, one for th...e criminal charge and one for my civil one with WA. Due to my car being safely parked, Alex was able to use the defense of being safely off the roadway. The prosecutor for my dui court case luckily offered to dismiss my charge before my preliminary, and the judge for my dol case dismissed it as well with the same defense my attorney used. Alex was realistic on my situation with the goal being to get both my cases dismissed. He walked me through the process, explained why this was the best defense to use after reviewing all of the evidence received, and explaining his goal for my situation. He answered all of my questions and had his best intentions for me. He was easy to reach and was always on time with our scheduled phone calls. Alex was also readily fast at responding to my emails and/or his legal assistant Stacey. I felt supported and felt that Alex always did his best to get my cases dismissed, which amazingly happened. He explained to me the judges I had assigned to both cases, as some are more fair and understanding than others, and made sure I didn’t have my judges switched as both assigned were great judges to have. I appreciated his help and reassurance in everything, explaining the process to me, fighting hard for the best possible outcome while also being logical and realistic with me. I also appreciate the reasonable flat rate and being informed that it wasn’t within a specific timeframe and that I can always reach out to him after everything ended.

I don’t normally write reviews, but they really saved my hide. I was charged with a DUI and a hit and run, Andrew and Alex went to bat for me and got it reduced to a reckless driving charge and a few days community service. When I first talked to them they explained best and worst case scenarios and ...they actually exceeded the best scenario also getting all fines dropped. My case involved a traffic accident while under the influence, as well as possession of something bad. They had my blood and I was totally busted. I had called several attorneys before speaking to Alex at Wheeler Boyd. The first attorneys I spoke with told that pleading guilty and falling at the ...mercy of the court was my best option. When I told Alex this, he immediately told me that he may be able to help me and that those attorneys weren't correct. He said a charge reduction and dismissal were a possibility. You must make sure to ask for Alex in particular as I can't vouche for any other attorney as he was one that worked magic. Lastly, I will mention the cost. Totally in the same realm other attorneys were charging and he allowed me payments. The cost is a fraction of what greater consequences would have cost me both in time and money.
