From a retired military viewpoint.
Assisted me with my CH 13, then the conversion to CH 7. Very professional, easy to talk with and knowlegable in answering my questions concerning my recent divorce and how it would effect my bankruptcy proceedings and my concerns that I was still active military at the time.

Awesome Lawyer!
Mr MaGee was awesome! I came into his office in a panic. I had just gone through a nasty divorce and was left $60,000 in debit. I had no idea what I should do. I did know I had no way to pay the staggering bills. His staff made it so easy. I was walked through all my options. After going over debit c...

Knowledgeable and willing to go the distance
I very much appreciated working with James. I had a relationship end where I had been the person with great credit -- and so all of our mutual debt was placed in my name. I looked into my future and I couldn't see a way out of what felt like an impossible situation. I felt ashamed -- I felt like a...

Very knowledgeable attorney
My husband did a chapter 7 bankruptcy with Mr. MaGee last fall. We were a more difficult case because of our income level. He worked hard on making sure that my husband qualified for the chapter 7 before he filed. It was a close one but my husband qualified and he was discharged last month! I don't ...
"I endorse James McGee. I had a family law matter in Grant County Washington which needed an experienced attorney to be available on short notice to my client who had custody and support issues. Mr. McGee made himself available on short notice and was able to give high-touch service to my client and her case. I value James' legal strategy and client centered approach to his representation."
"Mr. MaGee utilizes his many years of bankruptcy knowledge to exact the best results possible, time after time. He is thorough and provides compassionate counsel and dedication. I endorse this lawyer unreservedly."
"Mr. MaGee is an outstanding and excellent attorney. I would recommend anyone and everyone to him for his services. I have been practicing for 24 years as a judge, magistrate, law professor, private attorney, and prosecutor, and I learn from his answers on Avvo every day. Simply an exemplary attorney."
"James is an attorney who is as easy to talk with as he is knowledgeable. He is capable not only of handling your most difficult problems, but also explaining the legal terms to you in simple English. I would recommend his services to anyone in need of help navigating through the complex world of bankruptcy."
"I highly recommend Mr. MaGee to anyone facing financial difficulties. I do not hesitate to refer my family law clients to him if they need to consider filing bankruptcy. I had him as opposing counsel on a divorce matter previously, and he is a hard-working, honest, and ethical advocate. He is not fearful of arguing for changes in the law that he believes will benefit his client, hence his successful advocacy in Choate before the Court of Appeals, Div. II."
"James is a superstar on the West Coast for all bankruptcy issues. A tremendous personality, a deep and extensive knowledge of the law, and an engaging manner makes him a pillar in our community."
"I have personally known James for some time now. As a fellow Bankruptcy practicioner, I can honestly say that James is one of the most ethical attorneys I have met in the field. He has a mastery of all areas of Bankruptcy law and is an incredible advocator for his clients in and out of the courtroom. On many occasions I consult with James on complex aspects of federal law and I am still amazed at his insight and understanding of even the most intricate details of Bankruptcy Law. Filing Bankruptcy is serious business and therefore the decision to pick the right attorney is crucial. I would not hesitate to recommend James Magee to anyone in need of an attorney!"
"I endorse this lawyer. James Magee was the bankruptcy attorney I trusted to represent me in my bankruptcy. I don't trust lawyers easily. My trust in James Magee was not misplaced. Mr. Magee did everything he said he would, and more. James knew the law very well. I had gotten caught between an ugly divorce, which lasted two and a half years, and a surprising, recent slowdown in my self-employment income, and James Magee was there to be my bankruptcy advocate! Thank you, Mr. Magee."
