Top notch attorney

I would give her more than five stars if I was allowed. Desiree took a case that was all sorts of messed up thanks to my previous attorney, and fixed in three months what my previous attorney took two years to completely mess up. I now have reasonable child support payments based on my ACTUAL incom...e, and much more time with my children. Desiree is a top notch attorney who fights for her clients rights, and what is fair. She and her staff are very responsible and on top of things to ensure everything is completed ahead of deadlines and no detail is missed, no matter how small. She is always available in case of emergencies, and is extremely responsive to any issues that arise. She definitely goes above and beyond for her clients. I would recommend her to anyone who needs an attorney who is willing to fight for their clients rights, and for a fair and just outcome, at an extremely reasonable price.

originally review was anonymous but I feel compelled to let everyone know!

The reason I decided to write this is because YEARS later and I mean YEARS! I am still cleaning up a mess that started with horrible representation from Desiree. My case was in 2012 and some of the residue of the piss poor job by Desiree still effects me and unfortunately my baby girl. I fired Desire...e after first & foremost her not working for my success. She some how thought it was a good deal for me to give my ex everything we shared and $1,000 in child support, plus the little bit in my retire 401k from Century Link. LoL. Oh yeah and this was on a 40k a year salary and raising 2 children on my own full time, while supporting the child in question, so if you do the math yes that's 3 kids. My kids lifestyle didn't matter in this case. The craziest part is that this "professional" took everything my ex said as gospel, which made it feel like she was working for her more than me! She believed all the false allegations and it distorted her judgement. Years later I have been blessed with a wonderful wife, bigger family, but unfortunately still dealing with my ex and the confidence instilled in her to continue to harass me started with Desiree. I tried to explain to Desiree the mental illness of Jessica Dennis, but she would not believe and now im still dealing. I should of went with my first gut to sue Desiree considering she literally took my money and did nothing for me. She just took everything the other attorney said and pushed me to agree. It was like a feminist movement against me and all I wanted to do was take care of ALL my children equally. If you are reading this and was wise enough to do so BEFORE hiring her please re-consider if you made the same mistake I did I pray your situation has a different outcome. And to Desiree, understand the importance of your job. Your dealing with peoples LIVES & FAMILIES! If you aren't ready to give them your all then don't take their money. I have to do the same thing for my businesses and because I do it right they come back and refer. From your latest reviews it looks like you may have somewhat got your act together and for your clients sake I hope so. I wish I could have said the same for me.

The comments in this review are false, do not reflect the standards of conduct and practice in my office AND it is very telling that the reviewer waited years later to file another review. The fact that this person is using this forum to identify and vilify a former spouse is also very telling. I am more than willing to address any concerns the reviewer may have and would be happy to speak with the reviewer personally - my number and address remain the same and they are welcome to contact me as soon as they are able to discuss this matter. The claims and comments here are not true - period.

Desiree Hosannah

Desiree is a "BULLDOG" a STRAIGHT SHOOTER! Lol and these are understatements! Honestly Desire is someone that I am more than happy and had the honor of allowing to represent me in my case. Before coming to Desiree I thought that I'd just be another statistic. "A child support paying father in the st...ate of Washington, with no say or quality time in my child's life." Desiree has proven to me that this would not be the case in my situation and soooo much more. Not only that but, Desiree and the rest of her staff went above and beyond, even working after hours to make sure that they were on the best path to acheive the set goal. This was not just in my case... I was always included and aware of all decision making. Even when I had some doubt "which was very little" Desiree assured me that everything would be ok. And it was! I am truly pleased with all in what Desiree and her staff has done for me. I am so happy that I have the Hosannah law group on my side rather than me trying to go against them. Outside of my case, I feel that I have an group of friends that will be everlasting. What you are doing for me and my family will not only have a positive impact now but for the rest of our lives. ESPECIALLY my child. And for that I will forever be in debt to you. "Lol" not financially. Thank you soo much Desiree and entire staff.

If you hire her you will loose money and your case

What I find sad is that Desiree has to defend herself from her own clients! Why is that? If you are a good attorney than your record would speak for itself vs you, but records also speak for bad attorneys like in this case. If you are reading this think twice before hiring Desiree. She will throw in... there how she was a judge blah blah blah, but have you ever heard of a judge going back to a lawyer??? She talks very well and leading up to hiring her you will think you have a great attorney. Unfortunately that is FAR from the TRUTH! I hired Desiree for my case where it was a pretty easy case. I was not asking for anything less than to get my divorce finalized and to see my child and pay a respectable child support amount. By the time Desiree was finished I ended up giving my ex-wife 100% everything we owned, and ended up paying a $1,000 child support payment on 40k a year salary, even though I had 2 children living with me full time. Desiree never gave me updates and never even sent me a break down of what she "was doing for my case", why? Because she did nothing, she is a very lazy attorney that will get away with doing nothing if you let her. Which is sad, because you shouldn't have to babysit your attorney. When dealing with a situation that concerns your well being you want to be with someone knowledgeable and someone that roars like a lion when needed vs a kitty. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone including my enemies, because it wouldn't be ethically right. I fired her and handled my own case the rest of the way and ended up getting my child support down to $374. The judge even asked me, "what did you attorney do for you when you had one???" Wow thanks Desiree for nothing! If I knew I had a better chance by myself I would have NEVER gone with her. DON'T USE HER IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CASE!!!

The allegations made here are untrue and are gross misstatements of fact. My office and staff take pride in handling cases effectively and efficiently, although specific results cannot be guaranteed. There are times in cases when there is a breakdown in communication for various reasons. It should be noted that anonymous complaints provide persons with questionable motives to make false complaints without any responsibility or accountability. To the extent that this person claims that any applicable RPC's were violated, I vigorously dispute such claims as well as any claims that my staff members are incompetent.

An amazing Lawyer.

I hired her when I was going through a divorce and child custody for my 2 boys. She was very knowledgeable while explaining things to me, as well as patient with me when I didn't understand something. All of her hard work paid off because I am a male in a "woman's state" but I got custody and child s...upport from my ex. It's hard to believe someone as amazing as her could have any negative reviews. She reminds me of a 'momma bear', and her clients are her babies. You don't mess with the momma bear, and if you do, you have to deal with her. She put so much work into my case and it really shows in the outcome of my case. She was willing to work with me when it came to payments for her representation, and she was reasonable and understanding when it came to the amount I was able to pay a month. I recommend her to anyone looking for a hard working attorney who will try her best to do good for her client.
