In her 20+ years as a family lawyer, Kim has handled different types of family law cases ranging from divorce cases to child custody and visitation cases. Her creativity and flexibility as a lawyer, even when dealing with challenging issues, are central to her immense courtroom success.

Kim's family law career began as Judge Diana Lynn Kiesel’s protégé, with whom she worked for over a decade. She worked under the renowned Pierce County family law attorney until Judge Kiesel's appointment to the Pierce County Superior Court Bench as a Court Commissioner. Kim was a successful solo practitioner before joining Envision Family Law Group.
In the courtroom, Kim’s clients, colleagues, and the Pierce County Judges and Commissioners greatly respect her for her distinctly intelligent and persuasive legal arguments. Her hard-earned reputation, coupled with her experience, makes her a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom. Accordingly, she was selected to SuperLawyers 2020.
Kim graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 1999 and is a licensed practitioner in the State of Washington and the United States District Court. She is a member of the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association, TPCBA Family Law Section.
Kim enjoys spending time with her family. Generally, if she is away from the office, you will find her planning excursions with her son and traveling the United States.

Excellent!
