Effective Attorney!

After several successful hearings against an estranged brother in law, I still knew I need a more aggressive attorney. I reviewed several attorneys through various websites, including Avvo. I decided to hire Dennis Schroader JR to represent me. Dennis Schroader JR is professional, effective, and i...f needed, aggressive! I would hire him again and definitely recommend his legal services to anyone! Thank-you!

Best Lawyer

I highly recommend hiring Dennis he is very professional and will make sure he does whatever he can to help. I am very pleased that I hired him and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Dennis is a very competent and caring attorny

I hired Dennis to represent me in my divorce case and I could not be happier with the outcome. He got me everything I was seeking and a lot more. My x-wife was doing everything she could to be as disruptive and combative as she could. To the point of filing false protection orders that included havin...g me falsely arrested for protection order violations. Dennis handled constantly changing circumstances from a very hostile person well and even went the extra mile to help me out. In the end all of the criminal charges were dismissed and I received everything I wanted in the divorce settlement. I would definitely hire Dennis again to represent me in any case I was facing and recommend him to anyone.

I found Dennis to be a great local attorney.

I hired Dennis twice and both times he was at the top of his game. I like that he is from Tacoma and know his way around the court room. He is clear and precise Bd truly gives it to you with realness. I have worked woth him twice now and he has not disappointed. I would recommend him for anything at ...anytime and encourage you to reach out to Dennis for your legal needs.

civil case

a person stole my dog and trying to get it back she kept me away from the dog by filing restraining order. I hired Dennis Schoader for help. The first thing he did was cancel the court date by text message saying nothing . so it was dragged out. In court he said absolutely nothing at all. the judge... did not grant them legal restraint order but stated i need to stay away. but Judge was not given any details about my side of the case and when I tried to speak up Dennis shut me up in a rude matter. I would have done better going in their myself. he was useless and when I brought this to his attention he say" well I won your case" He did nothing of the sort. I was still prevented from doing what I need to do to get my dog back. He absolutely did not care about my situation at all. told me to forget the dog. My attorney told me that. whose side was he on? How many people have dogs owed just forget who stole their best friend never hire this guy

Karen, I am terribly hurt by this, particularly because I absolutely do care about your situation, and did everything that could be done for you in your case. I spent a great deal of time - both via email and on the phone with you - trying to comfort you and guide you through what was clearly a very significant and emotional time for you. You came to me because you were served with a petition for an anti harassment protection order. Our first appointment was exactly one week before the first scheduled hearing. I told you then and there that I had a scheduling conflict and that I would move the hearing date. My staff and I then began working with you to determine the best response. We decided that live testimony was a better option than a written declaration. You and I exchanged 25 emails between when you hired me, and the date of our hearing. At the hearing itself, the opposing party got to go first, because it was her petition, and her burden of proof. I cross-examined her, and made argument that the petition should be denied because she did not make her case, and the court agreed. I was able to win this case without you having to testify at all. The judge did tell you that further contact would probably result in an anti harassment order being issued. Despite the judge’s warnings, you contacted the opposing party again, and she filed for another protection order. This time you decided not to use my services, and an order was entered against you. Regarding getting the puppy back, as I have also previously explained, what you were asking for is a remedy known as “specific performance.” You filed a case in small claims, where attorneys are not allowed. At the small claims hearing, some months after our case was over, you were awarded your money back for what you paid for the puppy. You then contacted me again after that, and I explained that you had already received everything the courts could give you. Even if there was an argument for specific perfomance before, there wasn’t once you were awarded a money judgment. I told you that I could not do what you wanted, because the law does not provide for getting both the money back AND the puppy. As a dog owner myself, I know how hard that is to accept, and I absolutely never told you to forget about her. I simply said there was nothing that could be done to get her back once you were awarded the money. I am truly sorry for your pain and the loss of the puppy, but I did everything you hired me to do and then some.
