Anthony J. Zorich JR

This guy is horrible. He tells his clients to not follow court orders. He cheated on his wife with his paralegal. He has shown up to work with black eyes from his gf. He can’t control his client. He thinks his poop doesn’t stink and is all that in a bag of potato chips. He doesn’t think he need...s to follow any orders. Many GALs refuse to work with him.

When I got to the initial consultation with Anthony Zorich he seemed very attentive, professional and dedicative attorney! By the way the consultation cost was $375, which is not refundable and would not be included towards your retainer if you hire an attorney! Completely disappointed with Senio...r Attorney Anthony Zorich representation! I’ve got two identically the same restraining orders filled against me (one from my ex-wife, second from her husband). Court hearings were scheduled for the different dates. I hired Mr Zorich for these two cases. The first hearing where Mr. Zorich represented me failed and the protection order was granted to the petitioner. I got disappointed because on my unprofessional opinion it was not difficult to win this case. For the second hearing Mr. Zorich sent me exact the same declaration (knowing in advance that the same exact case was unsuccessful with that declaration) and he said that I need to sign it, which I refused to do, saying that I need to file a new one (different)! After writing a new declaration Mr. Zorich read through it and said that I would never be successful with this type of declaration and put an ultimatum either we file the initial declaration or he would withdraw himself from the case. I told him “you made your choice” and I went to represent myself with MY new declaration. After the second hearing, when the Judge was concluding the 4 hours long hearing he said “I don’t even see the reason of granting the protection order in the first hearing in this matter” and granted me the denial of the case! As for the attorney fee, Tony Zorich got a deposit of the amount of $12,500, after him loosing the case in a court he charged me $5,525 and mentioned that I need to wait two weeks to get the deposit back, after that I received a refund of $10,890.50. So his total charge for one lost case was $7,134.50!!! That’s insane!!! To my question why the deposit was returned not in full I got NO ANSWER!!! After withdrawing himself from the case, he has never answered to any of my emails, even though I have never received the final decision of the case he was taking care of and I was needed to go to the Superior court myself to pull out the record. I am going to file a claim to State Bar Association. If you want to loose money for the lost cases Anthony Zorich can help you with that!

My Child Support case worker even said the lawyer messed up... Big fees even though my ex was agreeing to everything... I had to send papers back to Anthony several times due to errors they made writing them... Anthony wrote to have payments made to companies instead of me, so the state can't automat...ically recover that money for me.... I had no idea at the time that there were options or I would have chosen to have it paid to me! It was just a very expensive mess and my ex was agreeing to anything we wrote!! So I would never recommend him or the paralegal I worked with! Now I have to spend many hours of precious time and money fixing (re-writing) visitation and child support and go back to court all over again, and ex is no longer in picture...

If I could give zero stars on the service I received from Mr. Zorich I would. I hired him in September to handle my case for having my child support reduced. I was told by Anthony that my case would be an easy one to handle and that the case would go quickly. After paying the very large retainer I... was optimistic that this issue would soon be resolved. Instead after a month I received a call from the accounting department of the firm Mr. Zorich works for and was horrified to discover that Mr. Zorich had used up my entire $6000 retainer and was saying that we owed him an additional $2500 to keep our account active and to keep him as our attorney. Without a single court date or getting any real work done on my case the billing statement I received showed that I was double billed every day for "conference regarding case status" and then another charge on the same days for "review of case". I was billed for these "reviews" daily even though there was no progress on my case and nothing new to review. Not only were there daily charges for ridiculous reviews and conferences but I was also double billed for these reviews and conferences by both Mr. Zorich and his paralegal, when I was assured in my initial meeting with Mr. Zorich that he did not double bill for both his rates and the paralegal's rates if they were discussing my case. When I brought the concern of my bill to Mr. Zorich's attention he was very rude and disrespectful and blew me off. I wasted $6000 on an attorney who went against everything he said he would do and instead accomplished nothing with my case and blew through a huge amount of money with no progress or results. I have hired previous attorneys in the past to help me with family law matters but I have never had an attorney be so irresponsible with money and then be rude and cold toward me when I expressed my concern for his lack of work on the case versus the amount of money he had used. I am so disappointed in the service I received from Anthony Zorich.

Tony allowed the opposing councel to make false aligations and did not stand up for me despite having truthful evidence. He gave me poor advice; however, he was happy to answer emails at an expensive cost and with no real advice. He only cared about the dollar amount. I wrote him an email with con...structive criticism, very blunt, the way I'd expect my attorney to be and his response was that he was withdrawing as my representation. My appointed GAL laughed at my declaration and the obvious favricated touches by the attorney. Um... If you want to feel like you are nothing more than a paycheck to a law firm then hire him, but if you want someone to stand up for you, I suggest you look elsewhere.
