Mirka E. Nakovski

I have felt compelled to write a review for the legal services I have received from Mrs/Ms Mirka Nakovski and her legal team. It's been 10 years now since I first sought out Mrs/Ms Nakovski's legal services and the only reason I've not had much time to write this up until now has been because I've be...en too busy being a father and having a very active role in my daughters life. None of which would have been possible if not for the fabulous work by Mirka and Rhory. I had a very contested and frustrating divorce that lasted almost 3 years from the time of it being first filed until the final settlement and then was contested again 3 years later from my ex-wife. Through all of the ups and downs and intricacies of my case Mirka and Rhory were a constant rock of empathy and compassion for my daughters and mine needs, not just for the present but future as well. Mirka and Rhory fought tirelessly both in and out of the courtroom on my case with multiple different attorneys that my ex-wife hired and always had my daughters best interests at heart. It's them and all of that tireless work that I'm able to say 10 years later that I never was forced to miss out on a single moment of my daughters life and have been able to have been as active and present as a father should be able to be with his children. In my custody case, because my daughter had always had both a very active mother and father in her life, Mirka helped me realize that I shouldn't try to have that change for her by a every other weekend schedule for one parent because I might have been angry or frustrated with her mother at the time or she with me. Instead helped with fighting for a schedule that helped my daughter continue having both parents remain present and active in her life post divorce. I'm not saying that this is a possibility or reality for all divorces or custody cases because all are different but this was just one of the many ways Mirka helped with mine. Up until that time in my life I had never needed the assistance of an attorney or ever saw the inside of a courtroom let alone be in front of a judge. As I stated earlier that my case lasted years, it was a very stressful and trying time in life for me. Mirka and her team were very understanding and compassionate for me (there clients) and helped me understand all of the legal issues that were happening. it has been because of this that the few times since my divorce that when I needed the consultation of an attorney in a different field, I've asked and gladly been able to receive a recommendation of one knowing that they will hold those same ideals and caring for there clients as Mirka does. As far as recommendations go with family law cases, I can tell you happily that there is no one better than the Law office of Mirka Nakovski. They will work tirelessly on your behalf and help come to a resolution for you that is as quick as possible and in yours and your children's best interests. I thoroughly believe that my case would have lasted much longer and been far more miserable than it was had it not been for there efforts and in my case allowed my daughter to have not just her mother but her father as well playing a daily active role in her life and not a part time or non existent father or mother. Mirka was both stern and respectful in both the court room and with dealing with the other attorneys of the case even when the other attorneys weren't. I've learned first hand that it's difficult to be cool and calm while going through a difficult time and none more difficult then a highly contested divorce or custody case and it's better to have someone who can be on your side and help you through it. When Michelle Obama said during the 2016 presidential campaign "when they go low, we go high" it reminded me of Mirka and Rhory and how they handled themselves with my case in their handling of my case. They do not bully as some attorneys do but will not be bullied either.

Seven years ago I was referred to Mirka when I was living overseas. I needed a family divorce lawyer who could help me even though neither me, nor my (now) ex-husband lived in Washington State. My husband had left me and our young son in Japan where I worked for the military. For three years he di...dn't pay child support and wouldn't help with the paperwork I needed to renew my son's passport so we could travel to visit family living in the states. Mirka understood situation and took care of all the details. She had my best interests at heart and her forethought has continued to protect me these past years. She even reached out to me when the Great Earthquake happened in northern Japan to make sure I was okay. Thank you so much Mirka, you were a solid advocate for my side when things were at their worst.

Even though this was Ms. Nakovski's first military divorce, she researched all of the ins and outs of the military retirement, signing bonuses, etc. that would be involved. She found more information on more things than even I had thought to consider. She is very assertive, very effective, and know...s how to handle other lawyers, mediators, and is amazing in the courtroom. She answered every question I had, and was always right on top of all communications with me. She does not bully, and will not be bullied. She is everything I need and want in a lawyer.

Mirka is the best lawyer I have ever had the opportunity to represent me. She skillfully and expertly worked through a very complicated and unpleasant divorce. The documentation she put together was honest, fair and bullet-proof. Mirka remained calm and professional through several very stressfull... situations which arose. If you are looking for an experienced, skilled professional who will work for a fair and equitable solution, you would be hard pressed to find anyone better than Mirka. Mirka will continue to represent me in the future as needed.
