David S. Marshall

On a beautiful Thursday afternoon last spring, I went about my usual business, when, suddenly, one knock at my door would change the entire direction of my life. It was CPS. The accusations were insanely false and part of a whole different battle; however, CPS means business. Their job is to protect ...your kids and when they show up at your door with a report that you may be a risk to them, it's terrifying. I was so lucky to happenstance upon David Marshall. I did a Google search for CPS lawyers and THANKFULLY David answered - while CPS stood waiting on my front porch. I could barely breathe, but I needed to know my rights, as my child's life was at stake. David answered my questions and concerns and gave me choices on the spot. During the investigation David protected my child better than I could. My voice for what she needed was stripped away by false accusations. David stepped in where I couldn't and fought to have her needs respected OR no deal! He valiantly and fearlessly advocated for her every need and never cowered to push back from CPS. My daughter has autism and other special needs and David's protection of her saved her undue stress, regression, and trauma. I don't have words in my vocabulary strong or eloquent enough to express my gratitude to this angel of a man. If you are lucky enough to work with David, you, too, will see that he will be a light for you in a very dark situation. During this time in my life, which was rampant with terror; fear; and helplessness, the only peace and power I felt in it all was knowing that David had my child's back. My only complaint is that he's not a divorce attorney as well.

I used David Marshall 10 years ago. I was charged with a crime and David acted as my defense attorney. We fought my case for more than a year, reaching a plea bargain. My 5 years old boy said something at his school which caused CPS to force me to cease all contact and communication with him while they performed their investigation.
