Greg Albert is a Seattle personal injury and legal malpractice lawyer who has helped clients achieve nearly $1.5 billion in judgments and settlements.
In the Target Data Breach class action, he defended 46 states' consumer protection laws against dismissal resulting in a $10 million settlement for consumers. He also drafted original complaints quoted by congress in the Takata Airbag litigation and prosecuted thousands of privilege claims in the GM Ignition Switch case.
In 2013, Greg drafted the first dispositive legal briefing in the nation to decide whether Justice Thomas' Genesis v. Symczyk decision would allow Defendants to moot class actions. Greg's success there not only created the blueprint for mootness oppositions governed by Fed. R. Civ. P. 68, but his clients received more than a $1 billion judgment.
Greg currently practices personal injury litigation and represents students who were bullied or assaulted at school. In 2016, Greg settled two separate cases on behalf of students who were sexually assaulted on school property or the school bus. He has also prosecuted numerous civil actions for police brutality, government liability, and psychiatric malpractice.
Greg grew up in Alaska where he enjoyed mountain climbing and fly fishing within minutes of home. He served four years in the Navy, earned a philosophy B.A. cum laude, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington in 2009. When Greg is not in the office, you can find him scrambling up a mountain, adventuring in Latin America, or writing about himself in third person.

Outstanding attorney. Extremely effective, diligent, and very intelligent. Friendly and easy to work with. Also has high ethical standards and a sense of morality - not your typical attorney. Greg saved our bacon after our first attorney passed away, and the second turned out to be "less than diligen...

Gregory quickly informed me as to my standing, and the fact that I didn't need representation at this time.
"I worked for Greg as an intern during law school. He taught me what it means to fight for your client. His work ethic and dedication are second to none. I highly endorse this lawyer."
"I regularly refer clients to Greg with confidence that he will provide them quality advice and representation."
"I had the pleasure of working with Greg on a complex federal matter recently. What stands out most about Greg is his energy, his commitment to his clients and his passion for the law. I highly recommend Greg if you are looking for an attorney who will have your back and fight battles that need to be fought!"
"Greg Albert brings an insightful approach to litigation. His intellectual strategy was molded by his background in philosophy. It is not uncommon to find Greg analyzing legal issues from a variety of perspectives. As a trial attorney, I have seen Greg work first hand. He will vigorously advocate for his clients to ensure they receive their day in court."
"Greg is a dedicated, thoughtful, and empathetic advocate for his clients. He has great ambition, tenacity, and attention to detail, and serves his clients well."
"Greg exhibits the kind of dogged determination that claimants should demand when bringing a civil action. He was instrumental in securing a multi-million dollar settlement against the Department of Corrections for their negligent failure to monitor a dangerous individual who caused significant injury to his client. Greg is a champion of civil rights and individual justice. I endorse him without hesitation."
