Top Special Education Lawyer

Charlotte Cassady did an amazing job helping us navigate some significant and complex special education and residential placement issues with the Seattle School District. With Charlotte's help, we were able to get the financial support from the district that we needed and deserved. Charlotte worked... collaboratively with us and in addition to getting results she is a pleasure to work with.

Getting Special Ed Students what they deserve

If it weren't for Charlotte and her team, my non verbal son with autism would still be in public school with a wrong placement and never seeing any real progress. I am grateful for this law firm getting us what we needed out of the education system. For a special needs parent to hire a lawyer, thin...gs have to be going really bad. For our family, trying to resolve the situation with the district on our own had 0 effect. WA state school districts are BULLIES when it comes to giving special needs students what they need. They will go out of their way to intimidate the family. Hiring a lawyer is the only choice if you need help getting your child what he/she is entitled to get under IDEA. Standing up for what is right by hiring Charlotte was the best thing our family ever spent money on. I highly recommend them.

Committed and Gets the Job Done

Charlotte is one of the most knowledgeable, experienced and winningest educational rights lawyers in our area. She was as committed to our child's welfare as we were! She saved our daughter's life!

Call now, call now.

Excellent, excellent representation. She used the prep materials we gave her to NAIL each and every objection efficiently and successfully.

Knowledgable, Supportive and Passionate about her work

When our family was faced with an education system that did not want to support our child and provide the supports he needed to be successful in his learning, we found Ms. Cassady. Ms. Cassady was supportive and responsive to our concerns and helped us to identify the path forward for our family. W...hen we decided to move forward with a Due Process Ms. Cassady clearly had the knowledge and expertise to guide us through that process to a successful outcome. Most importantly because of Ms. Cassady our son was able to access what he needed for his learning and is doing wonderfully. Our meeting and retaining Ms. Cassady was a gift to our son and our family. I recommend Ms. Cassady often to other families I meet and will continue to recommend her.

"I have known Charlotte for thirty years, since I was a staff attorney and she was an investigator (one of the best) at The Defender Association, in Seattle. She soon went to law school, distinguishing herself and earning a position at one of Seattle’s top law firms. Before long, Charlotte had her own practice and began working with me on criminal cases, handling difficult and complex research and writing tasks with great skill. She eventually gravitated toward education law, helping clients through school discipline allegations and obtaining special accommodations for students who need them. Education law can intersect with my criminal defense practice, and I have worked jointly with Charlotte for many clients with school disciplinary issues. She has superb judgment and is an extraordinary writer. Her legal knowledge is simply outstanding. She also possesses superior tactical judgement and practical insights. If there’s a way to get you to your goal, she’ll find it."
