I had a landlord issue with recovering a deposit, and was referred to Nick by the KCBA. He was efficient and helpful through the whole process, with drafting a demand letter and later assisting with the small claims filing. Communication was courteous and responsive. It was the first time I hired... an attorney for anything and I felt the price I paid was very reasonable for the service I got.

I was referred to him by the King County Bar Association for an eviction matter. I asked him 2 simple questions, he didn't answer them but asked to schedule a phone call for today at 1:30pm instead. I sent him an e-mail with all the details including a short version and a long version. The short vers...ion would be a 1-2 minute read. He emailed me he wasn't reading anything until I paid him $225 per hour. I called him at exactly our scheduled phone call time, he didn't answer the phone call. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I engaged Nick for over a month with the clear objective of developing a strategic plan to leverage my equity position in a company to pursue a potential buyout, as permitted under my contractual rights. From the outset, I communicated my expectations for actionable legal guidance and strategic direc...tion. However, Nick repeatedly stated he would not take any legal action on my behalf, including sending formal communications, initiating arbitration (as outlined in my agreement), or proposing a clear course of action. Despite our agreement being structured as a consulting engagement intended to move matters forward, Nick failed to offer any substantive plan or actionable advice. Throughout the six weeks of our engagement, there was no meaningful progress—no steps were taken, and no strategies were proposed. It became apparent that his primary interest was in continuing the engagement solely for the purpose of billing, without delivering value or fulfilling the scope of the engagement. I would not recommend this attorney to others, particularly those seeking proactive legal support or strategic counsel.

Nick helped me and my friend through a years-long legal situation. Throughout the process, he was thorough, informative, and supportive. Nick was well informed on housing and tenant law. Beyond that, however, I felt as if Nick cared for us as individuals and really worked to protect our dignity thro...ughout the situation. He also worked with us to reduce legal costs throughout the entire process. I am very grateful for Nick's support and would recommend him to anyone facing housing or tenant issues.
