I used Charlie for my parenting plan case and he was so efficient and easy to work with. He always got right back to me (as well as his paralegal) and helped easily complete my case and wanted us to settle in the way that was most easy for us and we were able to avoid mediation. He was very considera...te of my financial restrictions as a single mother. He never pushed to go to court or do mediation. I have referred all my friends and patients to him for their divorce/separation/parenting plan needs and will continue to do in the future.

We didn't know what to expect when we first met with Charlie to discuss our daughter's marital separation. There were some immediate issues regarding child custody so we needed somebody who would help us resolve it and then help craft the separation agreement and parenting plan. Charlie jumped in... and resolve the immediate situation with his expertise before the court. Then, over a protracted period until the agreements could be finalized, he worked to get us to resolution, despite multiple delays. His billing was reasonable and the final negotiations and agreement fair.

We hired Charlie to represent our daughter in a very contentious divorce case. Charlie came recommended to us by an attorney friend who previously had interactions with him as opposing counsel. Throughout this entire ordeal, our daughter's Ex has been very spiteful & vindictive, unwilling to agree or... compromise on terms and conditions, and if he did agree, he would then later change his mind. At mediation, an initial agreement had been reached, however, at the last moment, the opposing party pushed for additional conditions that were not acceptable or, in the best interest of the young children. The case was drawn out and eventually forced to trial, due to lack of reason, truthfulness and cooperation by Ex. Bottom line, Charlie hit a home run. Our daughter was awarded what was initially agreed upon at mediation plus more. In addition, the Ex was required to pay a substantial portion of her attorney fees. Throughout this entire process, Charlie was a calm voice of reason and remained focused on what was best for the kids. Charlie and Nicolette Michaels (paralegal) were always available to answer questions and lend their perspective during this difficult time. Not only is Charlie a very good attorney, he's a very good person.

I don’t really have the right words to convey how incredible Charlie Shane has been throughout my exceedingly long and difficult divorce/custody case.
