If you have an idea about something but he doesn't think it will help or improve your case, he doesn't just say no. I was intending on representing myself for trial in a high conflict child custody matter. However, upon getting a Family Court Services report that was potentially going to have a substantial negative impact for my case. I knew them that I needed an attorney. So a week prior to the trial I consulted ...with Charlie and let him know what was going on via zoom. We talked about the specifics and Charlie told me what the courts do and don't want to hear on my behalf. Furthermore, to allow the courts to find out for themselves that the opposing party was making comments, and accusations in bad faith to support there own false narrative. When the trial date came we had the option to get a continuance or do the trial. With only a week of preparation for a very high conflict litigation we decided to go through with the trial. Charlie knew the right questions to ask my witnesses, myself, FCS and the opposing party. The family court services report was not even a factor, and that was my biggest worry! Ultimately the Judge granted that I have my daughter every Thursday afternoon to Sunday evening. He also got a reduction in my child support payments. I give Charlie 5 stars and I highly recommend hiring him for any of your family law matters. He is professional and like a friend all at the same time.
