I was intending on representing myself for trial in a high conflict child custody matter. However, upon getting a Family Court Services report that was potentially going to have a substantial negative impact for my case. I knew them that I needed an attorney. So a week prior to the trial I consulted ...with Charlie and let him know what was going on via zoom. We talked about the specifics and Charlie told me what the courts do and don't want to hear on my behalf. Furthermore, to allow the courts to find out for themselves that the opposing party was making comments, and accusations in bad faith to support there own false narrative. When the trial date came we had the option to get a continuance or do the trial. With only a week of preparation for a very high conflict litigation we decided to go through with the trial. Charlie knew the right questions to ask my witnesses, myself, FCS and the opposing party. The family court services report was not even a factor, and that was my biggest worry! Ultimately the Judge granted that I have my daughter every Thursday afternoon to Sunday evening. He also got a reduction in my child support payments. I give Charlie 5 stars and I highly recommend hiring him for any of your family law matters. He is professional and like a friend all at the same time.

I hired Charlie to help me with divorcing my high conflict and abusive partner, who lives in WA although I moved to the east coast to get away from him. Charlie and Nicolette were excellent at every step of my divorce process. They have a direct, yet compassionate approach, and most importantly, they listened to me and really internalized what I saw as a successful outcome. They patiently informed me about the risks and benefits and were supportive..., even when where our perspectives diverged. Charlie was my attorney for my divorce. He did an excellent job. First, he is very personable and easy to talk to—kindness and a sense of humor is much appreciated during such a stressful time! Second, he is very knowledgeable about the law and the local courts. He was always prepared for court, turn...ed in paperwork in a timely manner (not doing this looks bad for your case in front of the judge,) and had me prepared accordingly. He was the only lawyer I consulted with (there were 3 others I interviewed before hiring anyone) who immediately knew federal statute that applied to my circumstance. When we actually got judgments, things went overwhelmingly in my favor due to Charlie’s competence. Even my ex stated that I, “Obviously had a better lawyer.” I could not recommend him more highly.
