In 2017 I was in a car accident the really change my life do to the fact that i can't really do activities that I use because of this accident. Having Evan Oshan as my lawyer made me feel better because Evan Oshan really fought for me like he was in a boxing match. he was very direct and knows what ...he want for his client and what they deserve. Rear ended with minimal property damage to my vehicle (Feb 2017). I did sustain injuries such as whiplash, muscle soreness and strain in both shoulders and lower back. My treatment consisted of chiropractic care, massage therapy and received facet injections in shoulder/back. I had an MRI done, wh...ich diagnosed a slipped disc as a result of the accident. The insurance company of the defendant would not accept liability even though he was issued a citation. They tried to make a case that the low impact collision didn't cause my injuries. Upon returning back to health in late Sept 2017 we issued a Demand Letter for medical compensation and pain & suffering. The defendant's insurance company did not respond and at this point weren't accepting liability. I had to go through an Independent Medical Exam that dragged my case along slowly. Evan Oshan still had all the confidence that my case would come to a positive outcome if we just played their game and hung in there. I was thoroughly prepared by my attorney when I was to be subpoenaed during the discovery process and wasn't that nervous. Evan calls me less than a week after and lets me know that the insurance company is ready for settlement and is offering their policy limit for damages. Evan was a great help in settling a claim for the medical expenses related to a driver driving through our home, resulting in our injury. We attempted to settle with them directly but after being jerked around by the insurance company, and then failing to receive any response, we engaged Evan. I fou...nd Evan to be very reasonable and not just out to get the biggest settlement. I was disappointed with the amount of direct involvement I needed to take on to obtain medical records after a service he used wasn’t able to track them down (but did charge handsomely for their effort!). I was also frustrated by the number of times I had to send him the same information over and over again, and had I not been extremely proactive in the entire process, I feel there’s a good chance we would not have had a fair settlement. Once Evan had the needed information though, he did a great job in negotiating a fair settlement with the insurance company. Had we not engaged him, I am certain this would not have been possible.
