Pam Kohli Jacobson

Pam Kohli Jacobson is a registered patent attorney with Betts Patterson & Mines and heads its intellectual property group.  Ms. Jacobson was previously a partner at the intellectual property law firm of Christensen O’Connor Johnson and Kindness. 

Ms. Jacobson teaches intellectual property law at the University of Washington School of Law and at its Center for Advanced Study & Research on Intellectual Property.  She serves on the boards of the Seattle Chapter of Licensing Executives Society and Washington Women Lawyers, and is a member of the Seattle Intellectual Property American Inn of Court.

Ms. Jacobson has a broad intellectual property practice and has successfully litigated patent, trademark, and other intellectual property disputes throughout the United States.  She also manages the patent and trademark portfolios of some of the largest companies and universities in the Pacific Northwest.

Ms. Jacobson’s technical background is in computational chemistry and molecular biology.  She is working on her degree in computer science and electrical engineering.  Prior to attending law school, Ms. Jacobson worked as a research scientist at the University of Chicago and Honeywell International.
