THIS IS THE GUY YOU NEED!
Bob is an amazing lawyer and friend. I was scared, overwhelmed and distrusting when I began looking for a lawyer. I had a negative view of what legal entanglement may look like and was in so so much pain. I was hit by a driver who was under insured with an allegedly arguable liability. Where other lawyers were on the fence about my case, Bob was jumping up and down to represent me. He is so thorough and actually cares so much. He is so genuine and kind and spent countless hours explaining things over the phone or email. Anytime ANYTHING came up, a bill not paid, a threat from an insurance company, etc. Bob would spring into action and get it taken care of. This left so much space for me to heal emotionally and physically. Bob had so much pushback when representing me. Questionable liability. Pursuing underinsured motorist protection from my car insurance plan even though I was on my bike when the accident occurred. Navigating a threat to underpay or not pay at all And getting the absolute maximum of my comprehensive protection coverage alloted even despite recently moving states and the insurance trying to abide by my old states laws. He did so much background work on my case, piecing together the complex medical history and dozens of second opinions with so much grace. He navigated subrogation for me, never told me what to do but always offered his advice when I asked for it. It took about a year and a half to resolve the settlement, which he warned me about up front, because I had several surgeries and much recovery to be done. He did not stop fighting until my bills were all taken care of and I had a generous settlement. He and Sheri worked so hard on so many things I can't even put it all into words.. when I had questions about the settlement disbursal, Bob rearranged things because he wanted me to feel I got a better than fair arrangement. He is humble and passionate and compassionate and genuinely makes you feel like a respected and valued person, not just a means to a financial end as a client (which I think many of us fear when we enter into a legal issue and need a lawyer). He has so much experience and is a biker himself with so much history advocating for those of us who get around on two wheels. He genuinely cares. After subrogation, when my insurance tried to slip some unpaid bills past us, he and Sheri reached out right away and took care of it. Seriously when anything ever came up, I just told Bob and Bob would handle it so I could continue healing. He even got me an extra settlement over the emotional distress caused (bad faith claim) by the insurance initially threatening to give nothing or much less than my policy, which was a huge bonus. He gave tons of advice and worked so hard on my questions beyond his official job title and helped me understand more about secondary issues like medical malpractice. When I read the final settlement draft and 80+ page document he comprised from my medical records and statements, it was clear he pays attention and actually really listens and cares. He even went as far as to wire my deposits on his own time with the bank because I have an out of state bank that made cashing the checks difficult. At every turn, Bob and Sheri helped me, educated me, gave advice, and truly helped heal my mind, body and soul by being constantly reliable, compassionate, remembering the details about me and my situations, and by making me feel safe and taken care of and represented so I could just focus on praying and healing and doing the work of surgeries and physical therapy. I could not have asked for a better lawyer after such a life altering, painful situation and I have so many more things I could elaborate on but I'm running out of characters. If he's available, work with Bob. He was definitely born to help people in this way and has the gifts of hard work, integrity and compassion. The best lawyer I could have asked for. And thank you Sheri, too! :)

Bike Accident Resolved
Bob is a very pleasant fellow. He was recommended to us by an attorney friend who opposed him on a case; must have impressed him. We’re thankful for that referral and appreciate Bob’s open candor, expertise, and humor (lawyers have humor?). Our case was resolved professionally and to our satisfaction.

Great bike accident lawyer.
I truly hope you never need Bob's services...but if you need a lawyer due to a bike accident, you'll be in great hands! Bob was always upbeat, responsive and took time to explain what needed explaining. Ultimately, he achieved a good outcome for my case. Highly recommended.

Great lawyer, and a nice guy
Mr. Anderson handled my case with exceptional professionalism. He was always available to answer any questions I had and worked very hard on my claim. I would recommend him to anyone looking to hire a personal injury lawyer. A very nice fellow who is very knowledgeable when it comes to bicycle related laws.

Highly recommended!
Bob was my lawyer for a bike-car crash that went to arbitration. Bob is excellent for many reasons including the critical fact that he is extremely knowledgable about bike laws. All of his advice was spot on and I was very happy with the outcome. He is also a great person, easily accessible, is well prepared, and has great communication. I highly recommend him and Washington Bike Law without reservation.

A true cyclists attourney
Getting hit by a car hurts, Bob's firm understood my situation and stayed on my case through thick and thin. It was so comforting to know I had representation from people who ride the streets of this fair town of Seattle and know the dangers we face.

Effective lawyer dedicated to helping injured cyclists
Two weeks before I planned to start graduate school, I was broadsided by a truck at an uncontrolled intersection, breaking my femur and fracturing my wrist. I incurred about $80,000 in hospital bills from surgery and time in the emergency room. Worse, the driver’s insurer and the police officer who responded to the collision argued that I was at fault for failing to yield. Although I had a difficult case, Bob agreed to represent me. From the start, it was clear that Bob is truly dedicated to helping injured cyclists given that he took the trouble to meet me at my home while I was still bedridden. Bob made it easy and stress-free to negotiate with insurers and file a lawsuit in King County Superior Court. Because of Bob’s skilled representation, I was able to focus on my recovery and start graduate school on time without being distracted by legal and financial issues. We ultimately settled the lawsuit before trial for over $100,000. Bob is skilled attorney who is not afraid to take on a difficult case. He makes it easy for clients to live their lives without being burdened with the details of a lawsuit. He has a remarkable understanding of how auto and health insurance works. Most of all, Bob is an effective and experienced lawyer who can develop the strongest possible arguments for his client so that they can obtain the compensation that they deserve.

Enlist Bob and concern yourself with healing while his team fights on your behalf
Bob and his team at WA Bike law are professional and can help you navigate insurance battles and beyond if you are unfortunate enough to be in an accident. I really didn't have to worry about anything other than treating my injuries because Bob and his team handled the rest. He's honest and not pushy at all, he wants to do what is in your best interest. Bob was great to work with, I'd highly recommend him. He's also a community volunteer and activist which makes it that much easier to enlist his help!

Thank you Bob
I was knocked hard off my bike by someone who didn't care, with an insurance company that wanted to laugh me off. They said the whole thing was my fault..... Then I was referred to Bob and he used the appropriate prods from his repertoire to get their attention and bring the situation to a successful conclusion {$}. Need I say more? He is also personable, responsive and has a very nice dog.

Very Well Repersented
When I told Bob my story he immediately called, that day, himself. The first lawyer I met dropped my case, I thought I didn’t have one; Bob assured otherwise. Months went by, with brief concise uptades from his legal team. I knew, almost immediately, he was unlike other lawyers, especially for personal bike colisions. He is a community activist and personal advocate for change. I surely hope to never get in another collision, but if I do I know who to call. After seeing this you should too, Washington Bike Law and ask for Bob!

Client
Mr. Anderton was the lawyer in charge of my daughters case. He was absolutely amazing to work with, he went above and beyond for us? I could honestly say if it wasn’t for Mr. Anderton I would not have won the case because the insurance companies are very sneaky. Every curve ball they threw at him he would handle immediately and without any problem. Ever since he took our case I felt secure, I no longer had the worries or the stress. He handled everything and always sent me updates. I would totally recommend him to anyone who has a case with the big insurance companies he’s absolutely amazing.

A Strong Sense of Vindication
When I was broadsided in a crosswalk on my bike 2+ years ago, I was vilified by the police in the official report, and the driver's insurance company took an unreasonable position regarding payment of my medical bills and the replacement of my bike. Even my own insurance company proved not to be the "good neighbors" they purport to be. Mr Anderton made the driver's insurance company see it was a good idea to pay my claim to the limit of the liability policy. He also retained his focus on getting my bills paid through my P.I.P. coverage in spite of my insurer's apparent resolve not to pay.

Bob was extremely helpful, friendly, and effective in my bicycle accident case.
I contacted Bob after getting doored by a parked car and sustaining multiple injuries. Bob helped me find insurance coverage where I did not think there was and helped me retrieve a settlement that I am extremely pleased with. Throughout the case he spent time explaining exactly what was happening in the case so that I always knew what was happening.

Generous and helpful
After I was hit by a truck on my bicycle I called Robert Anderton to explore my options in making an insurance claim. Although my injuries were not severe enough to require hiring an attorney, he kindly gave me advice about how to proceed in negotiations with the insurance company of the person who hit me. When I called him back with further concerns, he returned my call late in the day (which must have been the end of a long work day) and helped me further. I was impressed by his generosity in giving me pro bono advice and by his expertise, since he himself is a bike commuter who knows about injuries from personal experience and can be trusted to understand the issues.

Great advise from a great attorney!
After I presented Robert with the details of my bike accident and the proposed settlement from the insurance company, Robert politely declined to take my case. However, he did provide me with case law, background and reference materials to enable me to successfully DOUBLE my property damage claim. I truly appreciate Robert's sage judgement in getting me to accept the insurance company's offer and I think he went out of his way to help me during our phone consult. While I hope I'm never again in another bicycle accident, I know who I will use, without hesitation, to represent my interests: Robert Anderton!

Thanks, Bob!
Bob was fantastic to work with -- open, informative, communicative. He dealt with the uncooperative insurance company of the driver who doored me, and I am grateful that I did not have to deal with these people myself.

Professional and just Generally Awesome
Without being too specific... he was very thorough and effective with communication between hospital staff, insurance companies and to myself letting me know what was going on and why. Working with someone like Bob made me feel confident that I had someone very professional and knowledgeable protecting my back. While being in a situation where I needed a lawyer for a fairly serious injury (from a vehicle while bicycling).... was by no means pleasant... it made all the difference having a lawyer that was pleasant and fun to be around. His staff at Anderton Law Office is also very kind and professional. Setting aside the professionalism, Bob is a great person to be around which is why I rate him so highly.

Great Help, Very Knowledgeable, and Fun.
Mr. Anderton was very patient and helpful in my case. I'm pretty sure mine was one of his stranger cases but he and his staff worked hard to keep everything running as smoothly as possible. He's a great lawyer and a lot of fun to work with.

Quality, Professionalism, and Results
Mr. Anderton kept me apprised of the case at every turn by explaining everything clearly, ccing me on all correspondence, and advising me in order to help me make decisions I was comfortable with. His superb communication (verbal and documented) between all parties left me in no doubt that he was on top of the case the entire time. His professionalism and quality work fulfilled my goal in hiring an attorney, which was to get the care I needed and avoid the prolonged headache that process can cause. The results were excellent and I have already referred two of my friends to him.

Helped me with a couple tricky bike v. car accidents
After getting hit by two cars in a month on my bike and dealing with the insurance companies myself for a while I lawyered up and contacted Mr. Anderton through mutual networks. He took so much stress off my shoulders and helped me navigate the best of a bad situation. I am now a shameless promoter of his services and hand out his spoke card to any biker I meet. I hope to never get hit by another car, but I know who I'm calling first if I do.
