Review for Law Offices of Melissa A. Huelsman

If you want a wimpy lawyer who tells you what you want to hear, find someone else. If you want a bulldog, someone who knows the law and isn’t afraid to mix it up with Big Law Firms, someone who will shoot straight with you, then hire Ms. Huelsman. She got us a fair settlement with a Major Bank, slici...ng through their incessant obstacles and obfuscations. We would hire her again.

I'm so grateful

We contacted Melissa Hulesman, in an ABSOLUTE panic. I spoke with Carl and he was very calming, and honest. He booked an appointment with her, very quickly, which ended up being a HUGE saving grace. When I met with her , she was Blunt, Honest, told me exactly how it was going to work, she NEVER gav...e me any false impressions or predictions, which I appreciated so much. She went right to work on our case against our Servicer/Investor. She handled ALL communication with them (I'm an effort to control costs to me, again very much appreciated), she had Carl updating me frequently so I never felt out of the loop. She ultimately got us what we were after, she was patient, and stayed on top of them. She protected us, and our home. I can never thank her enough. She is TOUGH, HONEST, and THE BEST at what she does. Thank you Melissa Hulesman

Mellissa rating surprising...

Mellissa represented me in what should have been a major predatory lending case involving several companies. In a nut shell she failed and I believe profited from this failure. She missed EVERY deadline for my suit. Agreed without consulting me to let case go from Superior court to federal court, A...llowed the documents to be attorney eyes only, the list goes on. But the Judge final motion told it all- I lost, why: Missed All discovery, filed no motions, failed to even ask for damages...WHAT that's why you file a case because you have been damaged. Curiously enough after my case, she was able to move from a basement shared office into her very expensive office.

I do not know who this person is but I can say that nothing in this review is true. I certainly never missed EVERY deadline in any case and removal from state court to federal court is usually done by defendants. If there is a proper legal basis for the removal, then there is nothing to be done about it. That's the way the law works. I have never had a case where documents are "attorneys eyes only" - meaning my clients cannot see them. I certainly have never filed a complaint where I didn't ask for damages and missed all discovery. I could not settle any claims without the SPECIFIC approval from my client and his or her signature on the settlement documents. There has never been and never will be a case in which I am involved where I received money that my clients do not know about and agree that I am entitled to receive in advance of its receipt. If there is ever a dispute about monies paid to me with a client, I would have escrowed the money and made arrangements for the client and I to resolve the dispute. I might not have filed any motions in a case but that is not unusual for a plaintiff. Plaintiff most often are defending against motions filed by the defendants so that they can go to trial. Finally, I have never ever had a basement office and I have never ever had a "very expensive office". I have been in the same building in various office shares for almost 12 years. It appears that this person (if I even represented him or her) would like to blame the attorney for not getting what he or she wanted from a case or has some other reason for writing a review containing false information, but that is inappropriate and is no excuse for making untrue statements in a public forum. I stand squarely by my record and my history of working hard for clients who are victims of predatory lending and who have had wrongful foreclosure issues. I have two favorable Washington Supreme Court decisions, several favorable decisions in the Washington Court of Appeals, victories in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and have extensively involved in changing Washington legislation for the benefit of consumers. Not to mention the cases I have successfully tried and I have hundreds of very happy clients whose claims and matters were resolved to their satisfaction.

The Best in The Great Northwest

As a new client of Ms. Melissa Huelsman's, I walk away from our initial consultation regarding a predatory lending situation with a renewed sense of confidence in our judicial system here in the great state of Washington. Ms. Melissa strikes me as a veritable fireball of enthusiasm in her field of le...gal expertise. Straightforward, no nonsense honesty is engrained in her persona. Her Biography reads like a who's who in the world of consumer advocacy. Ms. Melissa's victorious accomplishments taking on large financial institutions is to be commended. Bringing the hammer down on MERS scams proves she is fearless in the face of any formidable adversary large or small, powerful or weak. If you or someone you know are facing issues regarding the loss of security associated with a foreclosed domicile, run, don't walk, to LOMAH for advice on bringing swift resolution to your desparate circumstances.. Be prepared to hear the truth and to tell the truth, as to do otherwise would clearly be a waste of her valuable time. An Attorney possessing the skills of forthrightness and fearlessness is rare in today's litigation oriented society, but thankfully I found a hound that bites hard in this woman and that is exactly what I need in the midst of this crises. Although I am a new client and have absolutely no idea how our case will play out in the long run, I guarantee there will be no more wrestless days and sleepless nights. To put it simply, I feel confidant as I place my trust in her high degree of competency that "this too shall pass".
