Richard Allan Rice Esq

Huntsville native Richard A. Rice has made significant strides in the legal field, driven by a deep commitment to justice and community service. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Mr. Rice majored in Business Administration with a focus on Economics, complemented by studies in pre-law and psychology, supported by an array of scholarships. His journey into law began at AMCOM in the Office of the Judge Advocate General, where he served as a legal assistant after his 2004 graduation. Inspired by his experiences, Mr. Rice pursued a legal education at the University of Alabama School of Law, receiving a full scholarship to obtain his Doctorate of Jurisprudence.

In 2008, Mr. Rice expanded his skills as a Canvass Director for a political consulting firm, passionately organizing community groups and promoting progressive values. This role further fueled his dedication to justice, inspiring him to establish The Rice Firm, LLC in 2009. Mr. Rice is a distinguished member of the Alabama legal community, admitted to practice in its Municipal and State courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Eleventh Circuit, where he continues to advocate for meaningful change. He is also licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
