Kate really is the BEST family law attorney anywhere near Seattle!!! I came to Kate after I was being charged an arm and a leg by my previous Seattle attorney - where I was at 11k charged with him and only at temporary orders. Beware that many of these attorneys are out there!!! Kate agreed to take ...my case after temporary orders were in place and took a chance on me. I am so grateful that she did! She knows how to handle domestic violence cases and cases where abusers are trying to financially cripple the other party. My case was beyond complex - an interstate case, a custody war in another state, divorce in WA and parenting plan w/ child support being litigated in another state. I was living over 2000 miles away from WA after I fled my abuser ex to protect my children. My ex was trying to drag me and our son back to WA, lying under oath left and right, and ignoring all court orders and wouldn't even show up to court or to contempt of court proceedings! He is probably the most difficult opposing party any attorney has ever had to deal with! Kate took on my case with all of these obstacles and was still able to push my case forward. She brought my abuser ex back into reality real quick!! I would have lost everything and been railroaded by my ex's 10.0 rating attorney if it wasn't for her! I would have been dragged back to WA and my kids and I would be subjected to an abuser! We're now safe and over 2000 miles away & finally in peace!
