I am very satisfied with how my divorce process went and the final outcome. Richard and his staff were honest and upfront from the first consultation to the conclusion, and were always responsive to my questions. He clearly out lined his fee schedule and stuck to it!

Passion, Compassion and Integrity

I hired Richard after a friend recommended him from a real estate deal they had done together. It seemed my family law case would go on indefinitely but his rate was reasonable. In fact, I'm sure he and his staff poured many more hours into my case than I could have afforded at the time. He is extremely knowledgeable about the law and court proceedings, pleasantly quirky, intelligent, down to earth, thoughtful and compassionate. I will continue to hire him in the future and would recommend him to anyone. I was most definitely drowning in deep waters and his office held my hand and helped me every step of the way through a combative and troubling divorce. In my opinion, there are no "winners" in family law, however, I would consider my future much brighter due to the settlement and parenting plan, etc. secured for me by Mr. Patrick. It was 100% due to his office's strategy, integrity and hard work!

Richard Patrick is Professional and Strategic

I hired Mr. Patrick to help me with my divorce. My divorce should have been relatively simple, but due to circumstances beyond my control the process became drawn out and complicated. Mr. Patrick was dedicated to my position, fought hard to protect important assets for me, and because of his keen attention to detail and his legal research won a successful legal argument regarding community property. This was all important but I also have to express that his approach in court, his professionalism and courteous demeanor, made me proud that he was representing me. I really couldn't have hoped for a better outcome.

Just what we needed

Mr. Patrick has been extremely professional and handled our legal business needs in every aspect. He was able to get our suit dismissed at a very reasonable cost and in addition was able to get a summary judgement for all legal fees. I would highly recommend him. He's always taken the time to answer our questions and fully explain all aspects of our case.

Amazing Attorney

I hired Mr. Patrick to represent me during my divorce. He did an excellent job. I simply could not believe the maintenance package he was able to negotiate for me. It has made a huge difference in my post married life. But Mr. Patrick has continued to help me in a few other matters since the divorce and his guidance and thoughtful approach has been invaluable. We hired Mr. Patrick to help us with estate planning. It was something we had ignored our entire life primarily because we just kept putting it off for another day. Mr. Patrick was wonderful to work with. He charged a flat fee which enabled us to not worry about the final bill. However this did not mean that Mr. Patrick was in a hurry to finish our estate planning documents. Mr. Patrick spent as much time as it took for us to be comfortable and confident about our estate planning documents. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Patrick to anyone looking for Estate Planning legal help.

No better attorney out there.

I contacted Mr. Patrick prior to starting my divorce. I wish I would have taken his first advice, which was to hire an attorney, any attorney, that would have a detailed and frank discussion about what a divorce could cost, and a specific strategy based on the facts of my case. Mr. Patrick spent about an hour on the phone with me in our first consultation, didn't charge me a nickel, and gave me great advice...wish I would of taken it. Instead I went with a “big” firm in Tacoma and after 4 months and $15,000 I had nothing to show for my time or money. Thank goodness I went back to Mr. Patrick. He got my case under control and stopped the madness of arguing for the sake of arguing, which is what the “big” firm was doing. In the end I got a reasonable divorce settlement and Mr. Patrick’s fee was more than reasonable given the $15K I spent for the first four months of non-sense I wasted with the “big” firm. Thank you Richard.

Professional

Richard, was my third attorney. He did what the others could not do. Richard took my case , he vested a lot of energy and expertize. Richard stood his ground and did not back down he had my best interest in the case at all time. I would retain Richard Patrick again.

Not your average lawyer...

Mr. Patrick is not your average lawyer. After a successful career in the maritime industry, he went to law school and qualified as a lawyer. So he's not some noob in the real world, which I believe makes him a valuable advocate for those of us in the real-world scenario. I first met Mr. Patrick fairly early in his legal career, when he successfully defended me in an ugly case vs the WA state attorney general's office. He worked tirelessly to prove the allegations false, and we prevailed. And afterwards, he gave me invaluable advice on running my business (off the clock) that I will always treasure. Mr. Patrick will always give you the straight scoop - even though it may hurt - but it will always be in your best interest. I can't recommend him highly enough.

above and beyond what i expected

I hired Mr. Patrick to help in a parenting plan with an ex who liked to play things his way and was controlling myself and my child. Mr. Patrick helped me with the situation smoothly and he helped inform me of anything that I ever asked him. He was patient, especially when my ex would deliberately press his buttons. He went above and beyond what I expected he would do.

Great Attorney!

Mr. Patrick handled my personal injury case. I was very impressed with his abilities and communication. He was able to get me an award for my injuries that far exceeded what other attorneys said my case was worth. If I ever need an attorney again, for anything, I will contact Mr. Patrick first.

Could not wish for a more excellent lawyer!

My fiance and I hired Mr. Richard Patrick to handle some estate planning for us. Mr. Richard Patrick is professional, informative, polite...everything you would expect. But he is also an incredibly personable individual who has really helped us understand the ins and outs of what we are trying to accomplish with the estate planning. We have such a better knowledge base and feel so much more confident moving forward with the decisions that we have made and that has come from our lawyer going above and beyond what was asked of him. The best lawyer you could ever ask for.

Having to hire a lawyer is never something we look forward to doing. The long, enduring, frustrating process that I had to go through was all made better with Richard by my side. He's one of the most knowledgeable men I have come to know, and he not only understands the law, but he understands you as a person. His honesty, respect, and intellect cannot be measured. Responsive and knowledgeable

Richard is excellent. Studied in the law but also the ways of the human heart. Richard bridges the gap between legal technocrat and practitioner seamlessly. Firm yet correct.
