Biography

Frank D. Prestia is a lawyer with nearly 35 years of real-world business, real estate and technology experience as an entrepreneur, founder, shareholder, and executive officer of various enterprises. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Philosophy from SUNY at Geneseo, along with a Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship and Craig Knoche Philosophy Award. He then graduated on the Real Property Law Society from St. John's University School of Law, while also working for two law firms and interning with the New York State Appellate and Supreme Courts and the United States Attorneys Office, Eastern District, before later serving as President of his law school's Justinian Law Society Alumni Association.

Frank has a wealth of experience in the real estate sector, dating back to 1991 when he bought his first investment property. Since then, he has participated in various roles and capacities, such as owner, investor, developer, landlord, broker, and founder of a real estate investment company. He also served as a principal and designated Broker of a commercial real estate brokerage and a member of the Commercial Brokers Association. Frank is also an accomplished entrepreneur, having established and operated businesses in diverse fields such as financial and estate planning, fitness, wholesale and retail distribution, real estate, foreclosure listing services, and manufacturing. He also spent two years as a Consultant to an international Franchise Company.

Frank's passion for technology and innovation started early, as he studied computer programming and machine learning in the 1980's, worked as a computer designer and tutor to fund his education, and programmed his first e-commerce website in 1999. He has been actively involed with online businesses since 2006 and has witnessed the evolution of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and the Internet of Things over the years which have inspired Frank to apply his legal expertise to the emerging challenges and opportunities in the digital domain.

Frank is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association (Washington Chapter). Frank is a Committee Member of the Federal Bar Asociation's Continuing Legal Education and Intellectual Property Committees, a Committee Member of the King County Bar Association's Intellectual Property, Continuing Legal Education and Judicial Candidate Evaluation Sections, and a Member of the Washington State Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law and Business Law Sections. Frank's articles have been published in the American Bar Association Journal, New York State Real Property Law Journal and King County Bar Association Bulletin.

Frank also serves as Chief Legal Officer for an Investment Holding Company, Wealth Advisory, and an International Manufacturing Company.
