I protect ideas. My practice in Lancaster, Pennsylvania focuses on helping clients protect their intellectual property through the use of patents, copyrights and trademarks. The three C's of my practice (http://3cpatents.com) are "Create, Consult and Control." That is advice that every business person needs to heed.
I am a graduate of Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before going to law school, I received my undergraduate degree from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Pennsylvania State University Hershey School of Medicine for my project “The Response and Potential Roles of Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1 and IGF Binding Protein-2 in Murine Cerebral Ischemia.”
I am admitted to the bars of theSupreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Before opening my firm I practiced mainly class action antitrust litigation, focusing on antitrust violations by patent owners. I use that experience to counsel my clients on how to avoid challenges to their intellectual property rights, and if needed, to work with a litigation team to defend those rights or to challenge others.
I live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with my wife, our two daughters, and four cats. There might also be a couple land crabs, but they hide all day so I'm not sure if they're still in their cage or not.

Christopher Leroi, Mediation Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
Mr. O'Donnell is an exemplary attorney. I would refer anyone and everyone to him on a regular basis. Despite the fact that I have been a judge, magistrate, prosecutor, and private attorney for over 24 years, I continue to learn from him daily from his Avvo posts. I would recommend that you hire him in an instant.
