I have spent my entire legal career representing injured workers. I enjoy it because I get to help people with real injuries get the medical and other benefits they are entitled to under Washington law. I handle workers' compensation claims while they are being administered by the Department of Labor and Industries (DLI) or by a self insured employer. I also routinely represent injured workers in appeals before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals (BIIA) and higher Washington courts. I have two daughters.

My L&I Case
Want/Need a no nonsense lawyer Grady Martin is for you-at first I was not sure how much I liked him as he is a GET TO THE POINT type person-However the longer I was with him the more I realized that this was me being dumb Grady's approach was actually the best for anyone's case! It was me trying to ...
"In the legal community successful lawyers often fall into one of two categories: 1) exceptional legal researchers, meticulous and creative in their analysis and approach to legal issues or 2) trial lawyers, lawyers that excel at oral advocacy and hearing/trial strategy. Grady is an exception to that rule. He excels in both categories--wherever a case may lead from negotiations to trial, Grady has the talent and experience to get results and a track record of success to back it up. I refer all my workers compensation cases to Grady without hesitation."
"I have known Mr. Martin for quite some time and have had the opportunity to work with him on the workers' compensation side of many of my personal injury cases. His performance has been superb. He is my No. 1 recommendation for clients seeking assistance with a disputed workers' compensation claim and I submit that any prospective client can have the utmost confidence in his diligence, creativity, skill, and willingness to fight hard for his clients in the often complex world of workers compensation rules and regulations."
"Grady is a wealth of knowledge in the field of workers compensation law. He takes the time to explain all aspects of the law and answer every question so that his clients are confident going forward with their claim"
"I've known Grady for a long time. He is very bright and capable. I don't hesitate to refer him to my clients who need a workers compensation attorney."
"Mr. Martin is a valuable resource to both this community and the Puget Sound. I have referred client's to Mr. Martin in the past and would do so again."
"I endorse this lawyer. Grady is extremely well versed in workers' compensation matters and his clients are fortunate to have him as their attorney."
"Mr. Martin's responses on Avvo are very insightful and helpful. He has a great understanding of the law. I endorse this lawyer without hesitation"
"Grady is a great advocate for his clients. He is well versed in the law and knows how to use that knowledge to his clients' benefit. Grady is also very candid and gives straight forward advice. This is one of the reasons Grady is so respected as a workers' compensation attorney."
"Mr. Martin is a smart advocate for his clients. He is professional and courteous at all times, which allows both sides to thoroughly do their jobs without resorting to unnecessary personal disputes. His knowledge of the law is exceptional, exactly what I would want in an attorney."
