Excellent Attorney

I recently had the opportunity to work with Robin through my company. She is an absolute professional, extremely knowledgeable and above all trustworthy. She is tough when she needs to be but empathetic and understanding. I would highly recommend her.

Great attorney

My firm recently hired Robin Phillips for two reasons. We needed to terminate an inadequate employee and we also needed to revamp our business plan. She was wonderful to work with on both issues. She was able to give us excellent advise to protect ourselves from any issues in the termination. Further..., she helped us create a plan for our company if anything happens to either of one of the two partners. She helped us think of things neither of us would ever think about including in the plan, but were clearly necessary to cover all bases. She knew the answers to our questions without needing to research. She was responsive and simply put excellent to work with. I highly recommend Robin if you have employment law issues.

Robin represented me when I was laid off from my employer with no notice. I had concerns regarding my severance package, the legality of my ex-employers actions, just to name a few. First of all, Robin listens to her clients. Before we first met to review my situation, I was nervous, worried, and mo...st of all shaken. We sat down, reviewed the situation, the options, and then discussed the best course of action - taking all factors into consideration. Robin always puts her clients first and advocates for them as one would for family. I left our first meeting knowing that I didn't need to worry about my case anymore. I knew that Robin would ensure I was treated fairly and my severance package would be equitable and fair. From our first meeting forward, Robin kept me informed and aware of all facets of the case. Robin's knowledge, experience, and passion for her work are clearly evident in everything she does. I was completely comfortable knowing that Robin was representing me. My interest, due compensation, and future sales commissions were protected. Nobody wants to find themselves in need of employment representation, but if you do, having someone like Robin makes a world of difference. I would recommend Robin to anyone!

Negotiated my severance package/received an excellent and fair package.

Ms. Robin Phillips of Lasher et al, Attorneys at Law was referred to me by another lawyer friend of mine. I engaged her to negotiate the severance package a large nation-wide firm had offered me when they laid me off (I had been the CFO for a small company for 14 years, and the large firm bought my ...firm, and within two months laid me off at the age of 60). About a month before my last day, my new employer informed me I would be laid off in about four weeks, so I engaged Ms. Phillips to represent me since I felt I had been discriminated against because of my age, and wasn't sure if I would even get a severance package. I was offered a severance package which I felt was inadequate given my years of service and loyalty to my purchased company. Ms. Phillips also felt it was totally inadequate, and completely revised their offer into a counterproposal, and also spoke with the new company about their having possibly discriminated against me due to my age. Once she did that, the new company countered with a somewhat better offer, Ms. Phillips likewise countered, and through several iterations, I was finally able to sign just a few days ago a very fair and balanced severance package. Throughout the whole negotiation, Ms. Phillips was very professional, keeping me informed of the status of the negotiations, proposing to me excellent counterproposals to submit to the new company. I very much liked her steady, calm, and professional approach to my situation, and in the end I was able to sign an excellent severance agreement, and avoid having to sue my former employer. Ms. Phillips has proved herself to me to be an outstanding negotiator and very skilled and knowledgeable employment law attorney. I recommend her without hesitation to anyone who needs representation regarding their employment status, feels he or she is a victim of discrimination, and/or is being treated unfairly in cases of termination. When it comes to employment law and representation, Ms. Phillips is the person to engage.

Professional and TOUGH!

Robin and her associates are consummate professionals and easy to work with. We've been a client for close to 21 months with our case coming to a close. She has been both tough on our behalf and with us when necessary, consistently completely honest with us about both the positives and negatives of o...ur case. Robin has a quick legal mind and is able to breakdown the facts and the law so that we can easily understand them. She has been a very tough adversary for our opponents. Our case has been quite long and we've spent quite a bit on it but we absolutely believe that Robin is a good and mindful steward of our money. We trust her implicitly and further, we like her very much.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Robin is a talented advocate and highly skilled attorney. She has an uncanny ability to see the real value in a case long before her opponents and then smartly and tenaciously pursue that end long after most other attorneys would resign to a less favorable outcome. She has a long line of repeated success attesting to this ability. Having worked with Robin on a number of matters, I know firsthand how fortunate her clients are to have her type of unflinching and well-reasoned advocacy and strongly endorse Robin."
