Excellent Attorney
I recently had the opportunity to work with Robin through my company. She is an absolute professional, extremely knowledgeable and above all trustworthy. She is tough when she needs to be but empathetic and understanding. I would highly recommend her.

Highly recommend
I've worked in HR for over 30 years and I can say unequivocally that Robin is the best attorney I've worked with. She handled two discrimination cases for us. Unlike many attorneys, Robin is a straight talker, and gives advice and recommendations. She develops a strategy and is very savvy and tough. You do not want to be across the table from her!

Excellent Lawyer
I hired Robin Phillips to help me with a case involving significant unpaid overtime. As a staff member in an understaffed professional office, I was required to work many additional hours for which I was not paid. It was important that I be able to count on Robin to handle the majority of the issues without consistent communication from me because I was in a position where I could only communicate with her at specific times during the day. I was always kept up to date on my case without having to ask, and anytime I had a question or concern, Robin would make time for me during the times I was available. She explained every aspect of my case in layman’s terms, and made sure I understood the strengths and weaknesses. I had a lot to lose in this case and Robin treated me as if I were her only client. She reassured me during the tough times and ultimately made sure I received everything I was entitled to. I would recommend Robin Phillips to anyone who needs an attorney who has expertise in employment law but also the compassion and understanding of a human being.

Great attorney
My firm recently hired Robin Phillips for two reasons. We needed to terminate an inadequate employee and we also needed to revamp our business plan. She was wonderful to work with on both issues. She was able to give us excellent advise to protect ourselves from any issues in the termination. Further, she helped us create a plan for our company if anything happens to either of one of the two partners. She helped us think of things neither of us would ever think about including in the plan, but were clearly necessary to cover all bases. She knew the answers to our questions without needing to research. She was responsive and simply put excellent to work with. I highly recommend Robin if you have employment law issues.

Robin represented me when I was laid off from my employer with no notice. I had concerns regarding my severance package, the legality of my ex-employers actions, just to name a few. First of all, Robin listens to her clients. Before we first met to review my situation, I was nervous, worried, and most of all shaken. We sat down, reviewed the situation, the options, and then discussed the best course of action - taking all factors into consideration. Robin always puts her clients first and advocates for them as one would for family. I left our first meeting knowing that I didn't need to worry about my case anymore. I knew that Robin would ensure I was treated fairly and my severance package would be equitable and fair. From our first meeting forward, Robin kept me informed and aware of all facets of the case. Robin's knowledge, experience, and passion for her work are clearly evident in everything she does. I was completely comfortable knowing that Robin was representing me. My interest, due compensation, and future sales commissions were protected. Nobody wants to find themselves in need of employment representation, but if you do, having someone like Robin makes a world of difference. I would recommend Robin to anyone!

Seattle's Best Employment Lawyer
I reached out to Ms. Phillips due to a perceived wrongful employment termination based on multiple facets. Ms. Phillips was recommended to me and others throughout the community who are all professionals, educated and seasoned executives. Ms. Phillips definitely has unique qualities that separate her from other legal experts. First, Ms. Phillips is honestly empathetic with any situation. She listens and personalizes her client’s hardship and openly reflects her understanding of how difficult and possibly painful the circumstances may be. That is quite important to me, as I think when one enters litigation, that it’s pretty easy and often possible for folks to judge and assume without having all the information and facts. Ms. Phillips offers her support 100% and from the beginning of engagement. Ms. Phillips also has an uncanny ability to listen to many details and capture the essence in a quick and clear interpretation-one that presents a “bottom-line” message to opponents. While opposing members may continue to provide pages and pages of irrelevant and illogical syllogism, Ms. Phillips quickly and directly refocuses the audience back to facts and behaviors that are relevant, meaningful and intolerable. I applaud her for this sort of energy and determination. And lastly, Ms. Phillips doesn’t tolerate moronic behavior from opposing members. She simply sticks to the point, disassociates nonsense that merely belabors the inevitable, and stands firm. Robin Phillips is a gal who will immediately and consistently choose to either “fish or cut bait.” I like that about her. I strongly recommend Ms. Robin Phillips to any persons who may need the very best. She is the best.

Negotiated my severance package/received an excellent and fair package.
Ms. Robin Phillips of Lasher et al, Attorneys at Law was referred to me by another lawyer friend of mine. I engaged her to negotiate the severance package a large nation-wide firm had offered me when they laid me off (I had been the CFO for a small company for 14 years, and the large firm bought my firm, and within two months laid me off at the age of 60). About a month before my last day, my new employer informed me I would be laid off in about four weeks, so I engaged Ms. Phillips to represent me since I felt I had been discriminated against because of my age, and wasn't sure if I would even get a severance package. I was offered a severance package which I felt was inadequate given my years of service and loyalty to my purchased company. Ms. Phillips also felt it was totally inadequate, and completely revised their offer into a counterproposal, and also spoke with the new company about their having possibly discriminated against me due to my age. Once she did that, the new company countered with a somewhat better offer, Ms. Phillips likewise countered, and through several iterations, I was finally able to sign just a few days ago a very fair and balanced severance package. Throughout the whole negotiation, Ms. Phillips was very professional, keeping me informed of the status of the negotiations, proposing to me excellent counterproposals to submit to the new company. I very much liked her steady, calm, and professional approach to my situation, and in the end I was able to sign an excellent severance agreement, and avoid having to sue my former employer. Ms. Phillips has proved herself to me to be an outstanding negotiator and very skilled and knowledgeable employment law attorney. I recommend her without hesitation to anyone who needs representation regarding their employment status, feels he or she is a victim of discrimination, and/or is being treated unfairly in cases of termination. When it comes to employment law and representation, Ms. Phillips is the person to engage.

Efficient, Responsive & Most of all Sharp
I had as good of an experience as one could have in a law suit. Robin her partners and her team was both thorough and efficient. I felt heard the entire time and felt I was represented as well as anyone could be. We had a great result and she could not have been more professional or impressive.

Professional and TOUGH!
Robin and her associates are consummate professionals and easy to work with. We've been a client for close to 21 months with our case coming to a close. She has been both tough on our behalf and with us when necessary, consistently completely honest with us about both the positives and negatives of our case. Robin has a quick legal mind and is able to breakdown the facts and the law so that we can easily understand them. She has been a very tough adversary for our opponents. Our case has been quite long and we've spent quite a bit on it but we absolutely believe that Robin is a good and mindful steward of our money. We trust her implicitly and further, we like her very much.

An attorney who lives by her ethics
Robin Phillips was referred to me by a family physician several years ago and after meeting with Robin and the firm she is associated with, I knew I could trust her. Why? How did I know I could? Robin earned my trust by her committment in putting my interests first; not compromising her professional need to be liked by me. Also, Robin's billing practices always have been honest with no hinden or unexplained costs which certainly reflects the value she has always delivered.  Most importantly, I can give Robin free rein and trust that she will operate in a manner that would be most cost-effective to me.  Robin helps me make good decisions on complicated matters by explaining clearly and simply the relevant law as well as all the consequences of various courses of action we could take.  A great attorney and an attorney you can trust are hard to find, and I have found one in Robin Phillips and I have referred her to several colleagues. Robin Phillips is well worth the fees she charges and trust cannot be bought.

Incompetant and do not do due deligence.
She did not read the contract in dispute that there is no provision for the loser to pay for attorney and court fees. After more than a year and hundreds of thousands dollars of her fees she told me even if I win I loss because Of the fees I paid. The defendant cheated money and Robin told me I had a very strong case but end up in lost hope to do the right thing and lost of large sums of attorney fees due to her incompetence. People read this please make sure this does not happen to you.

"Robin is a talented advocate and highly skilled attorney. She has an uncanny ability to see the real value in a case long before her opponents and then smartly and tenaciously pursue that end long after most other attorneys would resign to a less favorable outcome. She has a long line of repeated success attesting to this ability. Having worked with Robin on a number of matters, I know firsthand how fortunate her clients are to have her type of unflinching and well-reasoned advocacy and strongly endorse Robin."
