Doug has both an encyclopedic knowledge of real estate law and the analytical talent to use it. I have opposed him in many cases, and have always been amazed at his ability to casually cite applicable law on even the most arcane subjects. Even more remarkable, Doug can always explain the reason for the rule. I expect him to be very effective as a mediator because he both knows the law and can explain it in plain terms.
