Outstanding real estate broker representation

I had a difficult case with DOL that they were aggressively pursuing. I asked around and read reviews planning to meet with a few attorneys before making a decision. Everyone I spoke with about this told me that Doug Tingvall was simply the best in this field. In the first 5 minutes meeting with him ...it was easy to see why. I can’t think of any professional that knows every single detail of their job as well as Doug does. He aggressively defended my case and always seemed to be 2 steps ahead of everyone else. He explained every step along the way and worked to keep the fees reasonable. We ended up with an outstanding result that I'm very happy with.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Doug has both an encyclopedic knowledge of real estate law and the analytical talent to use it. I have opposed him in many cases, and have always been amazed at his ability to casually cite applicable law on even the most arcane subjects. Even more remarkable, Doug can always explain the reason for the rule. I expect him to be very effective as a mediator because he both knows the law and can explain it in plain terms."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
