Paul cares about you getting better

He doesn't just see you as a couple dollar signs. He has an encyclopedic grasp of the whole process, from haggling over the value of your vehicle to the arcana of the medical side of things. Would seek his help again if I'm ever in another accident.

Competent and Caring

I could not be more thankful for everything Paul did for me over the course of my case. I honestly felt that my treatment, recovery, and happiness following my MVAs was something he and his team were personally invested in. He and Anna were there for me whenever I needed them - they were easy to reac...h, very responsive, and very understanding. He made sure to explain things to me in a way I understood, and I felt like I could tell him anything with complete confidence, which is very important in situations like this. All my questions were always answered, and I always felt like I knew just as much as Paul did. He's knowledgeable, confident, and straight forward. I can't recommend or thank him enough.

Legal Malpractice Risk

Paul Veillon was working for the Wattel & York Firm when he was my attorney in 2013. I followed Paul's advice and took my car to the automotive repair shop that was not in my area because he repeatedly told me to get the best service and support I needed to go to that specific shop. Also following ...his advice I did visit his choice of chiropractors for my pain issues. The chiropractor was great, however the issue with my car was mis-handled. Paul called me to tell me that the insurance company totaled the car and the amount they would pay covers the remaining balance on the loan of my car. He told me the car shop wanted to purchase it for x amount and was that ok with me. I told him as long as the car loan would be paid off it's no difference to me where the car ends up, especially since I have no idea what happens to totaled cars. Unfortunately his letting the shop pay for the car nullified my gap insurance requiring I pay a very substantial balance. Paul left the firm around that time but the firm said they would pay the difference on my loan but only if I signed a document promising I would not sue them for mal-practice. In light of how Paul mis-handled my car, placing me in a very difficult position, I can not offer a positive review, and I would encourage people to find a more competent attorney. If a MVA attorney isn't aware of how to handle a totaled car without risking their clients gap insurance they are not very qualified in their field.

This circumstance did arise at unfortunate timing. As Brenda mentioned, I left Wattel & York just as her total loss claim was resolving. I left Wattel & York for a reason. As a leading property damage and diminished value attorney had I been able to handle that portion of the claim to its conclusion, two things would have been different. First, as soon as we discovered the issue with the GAP coverage I would have insisted that the insurance company pay to total the vehicle rather than permitting the body shop to purchase it, or else required the shop to pay the loan balance for the privilege of purchasing the vehicle. I'm not sure why Wattel & York didn't do that after I left the firm. Second, I would have never, ever conditioned taking responsibility for a problem on a client's promising not to bring a malpractice claim. At Galileo Law, if we're responsible for a mistake, we step up, no questions asked. It's part of our ethical obligations as well as our firm's White Glove Service Guarantee. But having encountered this problem many times, the outcome is fair and favorable when I can handle the issue to its conclusion. I'm very sorry for Brenda's experience.

My first legal experience

Paul was very good at answering my questions and helping me understand the both the process of retaining counsel but also the processes of being deposed and medically examined. He was with me each step of the way and was sure to lay down a very good explanation of the current status of my case. ... My work schedule is rather unpredictable and Paul expertly navigated setting dates around my national and international travels over the course of my case. Additionally, when my settlement came and the amount was lower than Paul felt was fair to me in my injury, he reevaluated his fees to leave me with a sum he felt was fair. Paul is a smart lawyer who seemed to know his profession and the process exceptionally well. I would recommend Paul to anyone I know who may be in need of legal counsel after a personal injury.

Paul Veillon..... Delivered as promised.

Paul represented my husband and I in a case involving a vehicle accident. Other driver was at fault and his insurance company was not cooperating on paying for the damage OR diminished value loss pertaining to our car. Paul was recommended to us by our vehicle's appraiser. We decided to trust/retain ...him and he delivered a positive outcome/settlement for us in our case. Paul is extremely competent, very intelligent, prepared, and always professional. Our case went to arbitration where we prevailed, just as Paul predicted. We have no doubt whatsoever that the outcome would have been most unsatisfactory without Paul on our side. While he was careful not to make specific promises as to the expected outcome of our case, I would be remiss not to mention that things ended up just about exactly as Paul supposed they would from the time of our first meeting as he learned the facts of our situation. We did not have to hassle or deal with the at-fault driver or his insurance company once Paul came on board. He managed everything from the get-go and was always readily available by phone or email to answer any questions or concerns we had along the way. In addition, Paul is just a pleasant, nice guy to work with. Very "real"with a good sense of humor. Definitely not a snobby lawyer ! Hopefully, we will not find ourselves in need of his service again, but if something were to arise, he'd be the one we would trust. Absolutely.

"Paul is a excellent attorney in every respect. Like most lawyers, he understands the legal system and the relevant law in the areas that he specializes in. Unlike most attorneys, Paul will focus on what your case means to you rather than what it means to him or his firm. This means that he'll provide 100% honest and straightforward information and advice to you. It also means he will fight for you just as aggressively as you would fight for yourself."
