I have represented severely injured persons as an attorney since 2004 in claims against insurers, major corporations, and government agencies. In and out of Court, through jury trial, and before the Supreme Court of this state, I have prevailed and counseled clients and small businesses in financial crisis, fought for the rights of the accused and victims of discrimination, and helped ordinary people who needed justice.
I have lived in the Puget Sound area my entire life. After graduating valedictorian from Oak Harbor High School, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in Physics from the University of Puget Sound. Then I went to law school at night so I could work full-time to support my family, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Seattle University in 2003. I am currently a member of the Washington Bar, the Washington Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
I and my wife of 16 years have four children aged 10-18, and live in Seattle. I have an intense passion for golf and chess, though I'm no expert at either. I also enjoy spending time with my family, especially on Orcas Island or at Gasworks Park.

Paul cares about you getting better
He doesn't just see you as a couple dollar signs. He has an encyclopedic grasp of the whole process, from haggling over the value of your vehicle to the arcana of the medical side of things. Would seek his help again if I'm ever in another accident.

Competent and Caring
I could not be more thankful for everything Paul did for me over the course of my case. I honestly felt that my treatment, recovery, and happiness following my MVAs was something he and his team were personally invested in. He and Anna were there for me whenever I needed them - they were easy to reac...

Legal Malpractice Risk
Paul Veillon was working for the Wattel & York Firm when he was my attorney in 2013. I followed Paul's advice and took my car to the automotive repair shop that was not in my area because he repeatedly told me to get the best service and support I needed to go to that specific shop. Also following ...
This circumstance did arise at unfortunate timing. As Brenda mentioned, I left Wattel & York just as her total loss claim was resolving. I left Wattel & York for a reason. As a leading property damage and diminished value attorney had I been able to handle that portion of the claim to its conclusion, two things would have been different. First, as soon as we discovered the issue with the GAP coverage I would have insisted that the insurance company pay to total the vehicle rather than permitting the body shop to purchase it, or else required the shop to pay the loan balance for the privilege of purchasing the vehicle. I'm not sure why Wattel & York didn't do that after I left the firm. Second, I would have never, ever conditioned taking responsibility for a problem on a client's promising not to bring a malpractice claim. At Galileo Law, if we're responsible for a mistake, we step up, no questions asked. It's part of our ethical obligations as well as our firm's White Glove Service Guarantee. But having encountered this problem many times, the outcome is fair and favorable when I can handle the issue to its conclusion. I'm very sorry for Brenda's experience.

My first legal experience
Paul was very good at answering my questions and helping me understand the both the process of retaining counsel but also the processes of being deposed and medically examined. He was with me each step of the way and was sure to lay down a very good explanation of the current status of my case. ...

Paul Veillon..... Delivered as promised.
Paul represented my husband and I in a case involving a vehicle accident. Other driver was at fault and his insurance company was not cooperating on paying for the damage OR diminished value loss pertaining to our car. Paul was recommended to us by our vehicle's appraiser. We decided to trust/retain ...
"Paul Veillon and I have worked together on two major personal injury cases. His knowledge of the law and ability to analyze complex issues are second to none. I watched him argue one case in the Court of Appeals and his presentation was absolutely brilliant. I have rarely seen a lawyer as organized, articulate and compelling as Mr. Veillon. He is an outstanding advocate for his clients and I would not hesitate to refer people to him for representation in complex or grievous personal injury cases."
"I have seen Paul's presentations at seminars to other trial layers. He gives practical and sound advice, demonstrating sharp legal acumen. His body of work speaks to this."
"Paul is a fantastic lawyer. He is smart, hard-working and dedicated. Clients of his are lucky to have found him."
"Attorney Veillon is a rising star in the Seattle area. He fights hard for his clients and gets them maximum compensation. I highly recommend his legal services."
"I only know Mr. Veillon through his contributions on AVVO. His responses cut to the core of the questioners' problems and offer sound, compassionate and practical responses. I know he has a lot of knowledge and would recommend his services in Seattle, Washington, where he practices law."
"Paul is a excellent attorney in every respect. Like most lawyers, he understands the legal system and the relevant law in the areas that he specializes in. Unlike most attorneys, Paul will focus on what your case means to you rather than what it means to him or his firm. This means that he'll provide 100% honest and straightforward information and advice to you. It also means he will fight for you just as aggressively as you would fight for yourself."
"Attorney Veillon possesses the critical skills and knowlege to help accident victims recover fair compensation. His answers on Avvo.com display his willingness to help those who are struggling with personal injury matters find much needed direction. He is an asset to the legal community. I endorse this lawyer."
"I strongly endorse this lawyer's work. Paul Veillon is a superb lawyer and is well known for being a zealous advocate on behalf of his clients. His reputation for honesty is impeccable. He is diligent, knowledgeable, and maintains a fierce work ethic. Without hesitation I would recommend Paul's services to anyone."
"Paul is a top quality attorney because he consistently produces top quality work. Anything Paul works on is done with precision and care. He also has a great command of the law, in particular the civil rules of procedure. Any client of his can be confident they will get a true professional."
"I tried a worksite injury case against Paul several years ago. At every phase of discovery and throughout trial, Paul was professional, courteous and a very skilled advocate for his client. I remember his closing argument to the jury was especially powerful and I have no doubt it played a large role in getting the jury to award as much as they did. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone who has been injured."
