About Shashi
Biography
I am the Managing partner and owner of VJ LAW FIRM in Redmond, which I founded in 2010 with the vision of helping individuals and businesses with their legal needs, by partnering closely with them and formulating solutions in an expeditious manner.
I have more than a decade of experience in business, commercial contracts, technology transactions and privacy policies and corporate governance and related litigation. I am currently part-time in-house counsel at a software consulting company and I represent small and medium size businesses and tech startups in business and real estate matters.
I earned my J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and am admitted to practice in State and Federal district courts. I am also an elected member of the King County Board of Trustees and serves on the MAMAS Board as Co-Director of DEI subcommittee. I serve as the President elect of the South Asian Bar association and have served as past Chair of the WSBA Solo and Small practice section and KCBA solo and business law sections. In addition, I am an active participant of various groups such as Washington Women Lawyers, Joint Minority Member Association, and the Seattle University alumni network.
I was born and raised in India and outside of work am a busy mom raising my 16 year old son and 12 year old daughter and I love spending time outdoors and travelling with my husband and kids.
