A force to be reckoned with!

I am so grateful to Boris for saving me from a very devious local used car dealership. It was, unfortunately, a lengthy process, but Boris negotiated a fair settlement out of court. He was very professional and personable throughout the whole process. Meant as a compliment 'Boris is a force to be r...eckoned with'. I highly recommend him to anyone who has been wronged and seeks recompense. Perpetrators lack respect for anyone and can not only rob you financially, but also rob you of your dignity too. Case successfully resolved!

In 2004, I unknowingly had an approximate $7,500 judgement placed against me by a major national company that does not report to the three major credit agencies. In 2022, I was made aware of this judgement when attorney's for another collection agency, who bought my old debt, attempted to collect ...the debt which now totalled over $55,000 with interest and fees. Their only resolution to the matter was for me to acknowledge the full amount and set up a payment arrangement. I knew that I would need legal counsel. I contacted the Washington Bar Association (WBA) and was encouraged to submit the details of my situation, along with a $35 fee, for evaluation and referral. I followed through with this, and after close examination of my case, representatives of the WBA referred me to Mr. Boris due to his long standing expertise and high success rate. By the time I contacted Mr. Boris, he had already reviewed the information I had sent in my initial request to the WBA. He gave me, free of charge, a half hour of his time to review my case and options. By the end of our discussion, I felt confident and at ease with Mr. Boris, and I retained his services. Mr. Boris handled my case in an efficient and professional manner. He kept me informed as my case progressed and quickly resolved. We were able to get my case discharged, and I am no longer liable for any of this debt.

Effective Attorney

We were in a dispute with our contractor over unfinished work. We had paid the contractor a substantial amount of money and he failed to complete the contracted work. We decided to initiate a lawsuit against the contractor on our own. However, we quickly realized that we were going to need legal ...help. The Snohomish County Bar Association referred us to Boris. He agreed to take our case and followed through until the end. With Boris's help, we won the case and the court awarded a judgement in our favor. We are convinced we would have not won the case without Boris's guidance. Through the process he was very communicative and responsive. We would highly recommend Boris's firm to anyone who needs consumer legal assistance.

Setting a standard

My experience with Boris was the first time I ever needed a lawyer; I was preparing to sell my house to a buy-for-cash outfit. I was advised by my mother to have a lawyer look at the contact before sale. My next door neighbor was going through a divorce and all he could say is the lawyer won’t return... calls, doesn’t respond to emails, and seems to have a new fee every week. I was skeptical, to say the least. The person advising me to get a lawyer, however, was my mother so… I got a lawyer. I did not get just any lawyer as it turns out… So I wanted to sell the house and just have him look at the contact; Boris dated he could look at it but explained that he wouldn’t be representing me if something happened after he read it if I did not retain his services(and the “new fee every week thing came to mind). This sounded reasonable, but I was close to bankruptcy so I had only $600.00 and asked if he would be willing to get paid after the sale. THEN, he explained that is a risk assessment as if the sale didn’t go through there would be no pay so if he did it, it would be slightly higher. We came to a reasonable sum(actually cheap), but I don’t think it appropriate to say the amount. So Boris looked at the contact, spotted some things not in my interest, and contacted that company to work on it. In the meantime, this man suggested another buyer-which HE FOUND! For no extra charge, and no commission on the sale, this man went out of his way to make this happen! That’s not my friend next door’s lawyer. That’s the complete opposite. On top of this, Boris is very responsive (I called him on a weekend because of an unforeseen incident and still he answered (please do not call him on the weekends if it is not an emergency). Still, that is the kind of help you get from this man. Not a lawyer-a new standard in my opinion. If you need help, this is the man to call for sure! Thanks Boris!
