After many unsuccessful attempts to deal with the bank regarding escalating interest rates and my inability to pay them, the bank was moving toward foreclosure and I needed help that was affordable. After exchanging A LOT of paperwork for the loan modification process and sending the package off several times and working with a great mediator I was offered a loan modification with great terms.
