Replied last June 26, 2021Alot of my DUI clients have drinking problems that get them in legal trouble. So I always encourage them to get an alcohol assessment & treatment recommendation. That helps my client get the help they need. And it helps me negotiate a lower charge and lighter sentence for them.

Replied last August 12, 2020I was very happy to get a good outcome on this DUI case. Negotiated a reduction to a lower charge with no jail and a much smaller than usual $ fine. I was able to do this because the client followed my advice to voluntarily obtain an alcohol/drug assessment, complete the recommended treatment, and attend a DUI Victims Panel session before our court date. Him doing that made my work much easier.
