I am happy to have called Seattle and the Puget Sound area home since 2001. While studying at Seattle University School of Law, I devoted most of my time toward practice-based studies to improve my oral advocacy and trial practice. To that end, I spent my final year of law school as a Rule 9 Prosecutor for the City of Marysville, gaining a great deal of courtroom experience. After three years of study, I earned my J.D. and graduated cum laude. My first job as a lawyer was at a local firm practicing insurance coverage defense. I learned a great deal about insurance companies, including how they generally operate, how they process claims, and what makes them concerned. Ultimately, I also learned that working for insurance companies isn’t for me. I am proud and happy to have spent the last several years of my career working for people instead of insurance companies.

Over the past few years, I have enjoyed helping those who have been injured and those who have been wronged by insurance companies. I currently work on cases involving serious personal injury, brain injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability, and insurance bad faith. Very Assuring

Mr. McLafferty and his associate were very easy to deal with in a situation in which I was new, and inexperienced. They walked me through the process and answered my questions very politely - didn't make me feel intimidated or anything. They also made me feel very assured in their ability and intelligence on the subject matter. The interaction was a pleasant experience.

Daniel has restored my faith in attorneys

Daniel is, in my opinion, what an attorney should be. He is professional, courteous, and smart. He has integrity and heart - he truly cares which isn’t what I would have expected from an attorney. Great Service

Daniel McLafferty handled my case after I was in a car accident. From the moment I met him I felt better, I knew that someone was going to be looking after my best interest and I did not get that feeling from my insurance company. His office took care of all the paperwork for the medical billing and that in itself was a huge relief.

Hard Working, Highly Recommended

Professional, responsive and exemplary!

During my case, the service I received from Daniel was truly excellent. He took the time to update me each step of the way and took the time necessary to translate legal language so that I understood the concepts and what was being asked of me. He was always professional and was able to negotiate a settlement much larger than our agreed upon minimum.
