Ms. Mordekhova, while a gifted practitioner of the law, went "the extra mile" to make sure that both the client (my son) AND I were given realistic and accurate information at every step. While her primary concern was the TECHNICAL, she never lost sight of how painful and frightening a time it was... for us. Mrs. Mordekhova, represented my son on a DV case. She was absolutely amazing! She was knowledgeable, compassionate, and active in the fight to help my son get the justice he deserved! Without her we would not have seen the amazing outcome on this case that we did. You can tell in the way she treats h...er clients, that she is determined to see justice for them, and is actively working on behalf of her clients best interest at whatever cost it takes. She made late evening phones calls to us about his case, as well as visits to him while in jail to discuss his case. I met Ms. Mordekhova while I was incarcerated at RJC pursuant to the charge of Assault 2 DV . During the first meeting we discussed my charges, and she immediately started working on my defense. I was released the very next day. We agreed on the steps to take and she worked vigorously on my case.... I NEVER had to wait for a question to be answered. She worked closely with me and I had open access to her and her assistant. At her advice, we set my case for trial, which was a successful move that contributed to the positive outcome. Once we decided on the strategy, she immediately got an investigator assigned, and the defense team pursued my defense right away. I maintained my innocence, and she believed in me and my case. After the defense investigator completed the investigation, Evgeniya pursued the state to dismiss my case. The State made a misdemeanor offer, however, Evgeniya did not stop until my case was dismissed. Following her guidance, we went through my ordeal until it was dismissed. I am more than pleased with the way she helped me through my troubles with the legal system.
