At the end of March 2018, I was charged with DV Assault 4 and Harassment, also No Contact Order was issued against me. There were nasty photos in the police report proving trauma caused by my actions. My first Attorney failed to negotiate any deal with prosecutor and case was set for trial. At that p...oint I decided to change my lawyer and hired Evgeniya. She took the case with incredible energy: she interviewed all witnesses on the case, hired an expert and based on that expertise results she was able to dismiss my testimony to the police. With her representation No Contact Order was significantly amended. With those changed prosecutor made a deal proposal, but she advised me against it and we went to 4 days jury trial. At the trial she proved Self-Defense. The verdict was NOT GUILTY for both charges. Thanks to Evgeniya I’ve got my life back.

I met Ms. Mordekhova while I was incarcerated at RJC pursuant to the charge of Assault 2 DV . During the first meeting we discussed my charges, and she immediately started working on my defense. I was released the very next day. We agreed on the steps to take and she worked vigorously on my case.... I NEVER had to wait for a question to be answered. She worked closely with me and I had open access to her and her assistant. At her advice, we set my case for trial, which was a successful move that contributed to the positive outcome. Once we decided on the strategy, she immediately got an investigator assigned, and the defense team pursued my defense right away. I maintained my innocence, and she believed in me and my case. After the defense investigator completed the investigation, Evgeniya pursued the state to dismiss my case. The State made a misdemeanor offer, however, Evgeniya did not stop until my case was dismissed. Following her guidance, we went through my ordeal until it was dismissed. I am more than pleased with the way she helped me through my troubles with the legal system.
