Criminal defense Attorney at Kirkland, WA
also known as Attorney Mordekhova
I was born and raised in Moscow, USSR. I came to USA in 2000. I started practicing as a criminal defense attorney in 2004, while in the Third year of Law School. I am licensed to practice law in all Courts in the State of Washington in 2005.
I worked as a public defender for Northwest Defenders Association from 2004-2018. I have extensive experience representing clients against felony charges in King County Superior Courts from filing to verdict. I have taken a wide variety of felony cases ranging from murder to white collar crimes to trial. I have many years of experience negotiating deals for clients who did not want to endure uncertainty that comes with the jury trials.
I have jail clearance and have access to incarcerated clients. I have represented many clients in alternative courts such as Mental Health Court, Drug Diversion Court and Veteran's Court in King County District and Superior Courts. I have extensive experience in interviewing alleged victims in Domestic Violence and Sex Cases involving Minor Children, as well as interviewing Law Enforcement Officers and hostile civilian witnesses. I have extensive experience in jury selection and presentation of expert testimony at trial.
I truly believe that every client is innocent of something, and I make it my mission to get my clients the best result possible in each individual case. I also believe that “Speedy Trial Right” should never be waived without a good reason.
I am fluent in Russian.
